Passion of Shadow

loves imaginings
call forth art; colour the dark
passion of shadow
with silver dust and fireflies
that flicker the lustred moon

Premium Member Wildest Imaginings On a First Poem Ramble

On a quaint country lane, my ”Downward Plod” poem whistled eerily.

Premium Member In the Realm of Silver Linings

In the Realm of Silver Linings
I am poor;

each dark cloud ignores
the bright light

that breaks a long dark night
of sorrow

for the time
of childish imaginings

and the world that waits
beyond the shadows.

She Lay Down

She Lay Down
with fantasies;
a warm surf ebbs inward.
His fullness fills her.

That night, more imaginings,
a magnetic need becomes
images, visions incarnate.

The morning finds her
washing her face,
watching the mirror blush.

Loveless-Painless

Lights came on; dreams started to roam.
Floating along beside an unknown gnome.
Miserable heartaches shed.
Hurtful imaginings fled,
She woke up while her body stayed home.

Usha

Usha:pleasure is mine.
You,one thousand times,
more divine,than
imaginings invoke.

Your words with one stroke,
conjure flesh,bound in books,
moon amongst stars,
you are.

Usha: sublime.
Imagine this,
a tender kiss,
I do, with you!

I drift through the eternities
on the translucent wings of imagination
that form in the mind's body of silence
where I abandon the world
and fall into the flowing stream
that moves through my soul of wonder

Wild Things Dance In My Head

wild things dance in my head

wild things
dark imaginings
0 dark hundred
they come out to play
to torture me
with their endless games
monsters from the deepest depths of hell
they surround me
taunt me, mock me
until at last
the dawn’s early light
and my wife’s love
dispatches them
back to hell

Premium Member when I said I Love you

The love I have for you is too powerful for words.

It cannot be contained by any ordinary imaginings,

Like the ones that come from the places life devours.

This moment; Here, Now: is yours forever.

I am in it only for you.

This is the forever I was talking about

When I said I love you.

Someone Else's Dream

This is someone else's dream
 I didn't plan it.
The ocean flow of ebbs and tides
 called to me in childhood
when dreams were just imaginings
 of what could be
 but would never be.
Where are the stars
the full moon, the light, the sun
 the love born in twilight?
This is not my dream
 if it were
 where are you?

Vivid sketches,
a parade
of resemblances,
canvas afloat
before my eyes:
expressionist
impressionist
abstractions
locked forever
in time:
the familiar,
the muddled or

inventive
imaginings
before me file,
to stay awhile
and truncate my day:
I contemplate
and marvel
the many things
to me they say

No More

In the shadows that fall
 the figure begins to disappear
at first, I thought it was you
returning at last, to my side
but it was illusive delusions
 the lie within my eyes
 the imaginings of my mind
and after all this time
 I accept it, reluctantly
knowing within my heart
 you will not return again
and here,
 I will walk no more.

Hopeless Romantic

Beneath the stars and galaxies
The moon, that’s split in half
I fall astray in the cosmos of you
Placing my heart once again
In everything that I once believed in
Hopelessly. Helplessly. Passionately
Relentless imaginings of a love so wide
A reminder of what I know to be soft and pure
Organic, yet electric
Dreams of a hopeless romantic
