No More
In the shadows that fall
the figure begins to disappear
at first, I thought it was you
returning at last, to my side
but it was illusive delusions
the lie within my eyes
the imaginings of my mind
and after all this time
I accept it, reluctantly
knowing within my heart
you will not return again
and here,
I will walk no more.
