8 billion people had fears
8 billion people sat helpless
when 8 billion people sold tears
unaware I stand,
open and unsuspecting—
expecting nothing.
nothing known, to guard against
loving blissful ignorance
Martyrs die
for clear faith ...
that is noble belief
Idiots die
for blind ignorance,
that is ignoble stupidity....
I once was asked,"Which is worse, ignorance or apathy?"
"I don't know and I don't care," was the response I gave immediately.

Fog in the morning
Shrouding the telephone pole
Across the still street
The mysteries of the world
Shrouded in my ignorance
Judging a person without even knowing his true name is like judging a book without even knowing its title.
