A little bird in its hutch. Asserts no control over the air. If a jail gate, he can catch. Wouldn't it rather fly dare?

What's Next

Starsky and Hutch wasn’t Dutch
as child I did watch it much

loved those cop shows back then
those days I never sin

they made better shows
computer use grows

what’s coming next

Premium Member I'Ve Lost My Rabbit

I went to check my rabbit hutch
The bunny wasn't there
I searched around for hours
Found it on the rocking chair

Thanks to James Fraser for the inspiration:-)

Apple of My Eye

when you made that hot apple pie
then placed it to cool on the hutch
it was the apple of my eye
and it tasted like it was dutch

Premium Member Zen mode

having come of age in the womb of space
there being here no more puzzles to lace
bereft of thought crutch, having gentled touch
our soul takes permission to leave this hutch
that light both immanent and transcendent
may bilocate, becoming independent

The Cold Hutch

Living in the sunless cold hutch of till death do us apart, sits a chipping soul.

Never had he thought she did be a blotch of many shades.
Spitting and pouring scorn on his dreams of a happy home.

“What? Are you even a man? Your mates are out there...”

Did Call Pennsylvania Dutch

Did Call Pennsylvania Dutch

When old while walking needed crutch
And in every room could see a hutch;
Bridges going over water
With walls on long border;
So did call all of them Pennsylvania Dutch.

and boxing all of us in.

Premium Member Delivering the Candy

Delivering the candy gumdrops and such
Throwing out chocolate to the rabbit hutch
With the help of the red-eyed Amazon frog
We roll out a caramel and nut covered log.

We are followed up and down the avenue.
I want a pink life saver! One says, how about you?
We are eager to sell our wares and do very well.
In hamster village where the sweet teeth dwell.

Frightened Rabbit

I was not made for the hutch
No Wire fence to keep me in
A bedroom light my search light
I’m a Frabbit set me free

To these four walls I must conform
Someone’s else’s rules obey
Your life controlled by fear
Regards what your masters do or say

From the meadow to the woodpile
I fear the acts of man
I wish to escape, begin living in colour
Set this frightened rabbit free.

Silent footstep

A hex, a spell, a whispered barb
A curse, a lie, a witches garb
Behold the depth of darkness falls
And closes in on these four walls

The stone is cold beyond the touch
The rats roam freely from the hutch
The stench of vengeance fills the air
A silent footstep on the stair

The scent of overwhelming fear
The sense of danger edging near
The hallowed graves are overhead
It's time to meet the waking dead

Premium Member Two Differing Opinions

He’s a little barbaric Joey said, he does not tell me much
He was talking about our new neighbor, name of Dutch
Many said he was a so and so and a such and such
But today he helped me move a dresser and a China hutch

He is vulgar and common, another snippety neighbor said
That will not change my differing opinion of Dutch in my head
He willingly helps me when I ask.
He shares his tools, talents, and his flask.

Premium Member Glamour dog goes to mall to give autographs

Glamour dog expected poodles to ask for her autograph very much
But they raced past her, as if they did not see her at all
How had they missed her fancy scarf, her florals and such?
She gave gray hounds a look, but they were so tall

They did not see her, so she groused to her cousin Hutch
Who cares? He asked. You know you are a gorgeous doll.
He is a gentleman, and totally Dutch.
This reassurance urged glamour dog out of the mall.

To My Beloved From the City of Luck

Being my honeycup and dish
A delicacy from an inn lavish
Thou are such a fine female
Of thy supreme ‘mole’ male
Serving so sweet secretions
In our suite in successions
During our oral rendezvous
We involve in mutual woos
Ever appetizing is the flavor
Of thy honey with no color
Ever yearning to dive deep
Into the clutch only to sip
Between thy thighs I find
A solace when we entwine
An awesome hutch solid
Where we compete rapid..!!

Wearers of Hats

eschew.
deliberately avoid
you must eschew
evil and sin
(kind of
redundant)

it's written
in a lot of
old books.
just pick one
that you
like.

the end
 is near.
there's
always a
prophecy being
fulfilled.

the mind
speaks:
i'd rather
dwell safely
than roam
with abandon.

a set of
ideas is a
cozy hutch
on an endless
ocean of
reality.

a hat rack
to hang
your invisible
hats
on

why wear an
invisible
hat? to hide
your invisible
bald spot?

Premium Member Hiding From Rafe

The fearful girl was terrified, so they kept her hidden
Inside a grandfather clock constructed by Mr. McGiven
She kept silent, as they traveled, did not make one peep.
A protective raccoon kept his eyes on her when she was asleep.

Skeleton Man watched the road ahead, for intruders and such.
If anyone came to get her, they would have to fight him for her hutch.
The animals were determined to keep the fearful girl safe.
She was in hiding from a truly mean boss whose name was Rafe.

By the Numbers

To reach my son, you take the Hutch*
To exit 29.
His town is listed, bold and bright,
Right on the exit sign.

So it was quite a big surprise,
A month or two ago,
To see that exit 18
Was the way that we should go.

The highway numbers all were changed
Without a heads-up call,
The reason why a mystery,
Our need to know quite small.

My brain’s been programmed all these years
To 29, but now,
I have to cross some wires -
How I wish that I knew how!
