Wanna taste your sweet hot toddy

While you baste my manicotti

Now ring that bell cuz dinner's served

Jimmie Jim My Piddling Crony

Jimmie Jim my piddling crony was a little toady
Happened to meet a gaudy king who loved a hot toddy
Jimmie’s ass an ace in the hole
Dipped in snail’s pace in the king’s bowl
Said Jim Sire, my daddy, King of Ire, I am your bawdy

It's nineseventeenPM.
and here I am again.
I truly need to sleep,
and rise as day doth peep.
I lie in bed thinking,
feeling very romantic.
Turnin' and tossin
Tossin and turnin'
imagining kissing
each part of his body.
I sure need a hot toddy.
My eyes are growing dim,
"I have loved none but him."

Premium Member A Song the Gorilla Sang To Me

Gorilla My Dreams sang me a moody torch song with these lyrics:

Why does your soul feel like a hole
Wherein a mole used to hide
Why does your heart fall all apart
It will not start deep inside.

Why won't somebody make my hot toddy
Oh lawdy lawdy, oh no
Why is it scary here on the ferry
With Curley Larry and Moe.
Form: Lyric

A Wintery Romance

Flurries of snow
Dancing in the winter cold
Shimmering white flakes
Some as big as the tongue that holds

From the breath of a warm body
In a fire lit room
The streamed window panes
Reflects the light from the moon

The Hot Toddy is almost ready
The kettle is whistling from afar
A romance for one
Is as good as a falling star

Premium Member Commies Never Agreed with Me

     Never a Marxist
       I didn’t like Groucho
     And though I read Spanish
       forget Sancho Panza

I was a big Lenin fan
       John, not Vlady --
     who loved a hot-toddy
       when courting a ‘la-dy’

     Today my likes and dislikes
       blow hot and cold
     which is likely to happen
       when your blood runs old

Premium Member POETIC GIGGING: Apropos Of My Hot Toddy

After a tired
labor of love day
got on the Trane
and after a few Miles
I reached Monk
later laying
back travelling
towards Sarah
and Nina
and after
getting Dizzy
headed West
boarded Bird
flying onto Art
leaving me
to ink
this poetic flow
I’m sharing with you
before my melatonin
MJQ disembark
to peacefully Cannonball
deeply into
poetic gigging…

Jazzin'

pluck the gentilities
got sined sensiblities
a quiet cacophony
rhythms at timing
resemblin' the melody
on repertoire
schwaaaa - aaaah
hear the sizzle of cymbals
the soul of her body
her sippin' hot toddy
- damn that jazz!

sheets o' music flyin'
mouth harp a cryin'
chords hit the floor diein'
to move a'wrigglin' rear
RISE UP! GET DOWN!
fade to bridge - then reappear
- now that's jazzin'

Plus ou moins

Plus ou moins
I have a nasty cold
That doesn't want to go away
I am also all congested
There is a lot of flam
Coming out
From my mouth
I am trying to clear my through
Yes I already had my breakfast
Early in the morning
Raising bran, boiled eggs
And a banana
Now I am going to sleep
All day
At noon I got up
I made myself a hot toddy
Tea, lemon, and honey
And I went back to sleep
I was also sweating like crazy
Yes I am also very tired
