bare bleached bones shining
vapored vision of verglas ~
horned owl screeches surge
(February Full Moon – Cherokee)
Spiny horned lizard
Arizona sand digger
Flat body blunt snout
Where are you going
With slithery ugliness
Wait up old friend
Collum Lune word based..3/5/3
green horned tomato
caterpillar, all volunteer pants gone....
starvation his end
moonlit autumn night
shrills echo from the treetops ~

The short-horned grasshoppers are here.
Not a great morn to walk with the deer.
They came in a form
A gigantic swarm.
Taunting, laughing, ready to jeer.
De De De De Do Doop
Yes it’s a great song
But you can only hear it if
You’re a horned owl or toad
And you can spin your head
Around like me De De De De De
We won't ever be anybody's red
caped tin horned hero.
We seem local and suburban.
All pleased.

Green Horned Rhino
Have you seen the Green Horned Rhino?
A creature so scarce and so rare.
We think he’s living in Norwich,
Dressed as a Hippo, with curly pink hair
Step right up unto the latest craze
Doe bank baby trying to escape
Big buck's double digit haze ?
A phenom horned in sound
Sweeping across its banks
Her plastic hobo clowns.
Form:
I want to be a horned toad
Puffing myself up to enormous fluffiness
terrifying my enemies
eating ant sandwiches as they run from me
squirting blood out of my eyes
confusing them even further
So Eric the Viking was not to my liking
I met him one morning when I was out hiking
It’s worthy of note
He owned not one boat
And wore a horned hat when he went mountain biking
Held down, as firmly
As unforgettable
No amount of wind or rain
Has erased - ever!
By that, antlered. Stag's.
That, curly horned. Sheep's.
Knolled, or a rock ledge upon.
If raised speech - farther!
phæsporia
in cold strip light
sacred arrows
turned against
my golden horned deer
the reaching november
hands that hold
the flowery
fallen charioteer
shattered and strained
by fools
released
by a single tear
hooting from oak stand
great horned owl signaling clear
small critters fleeing

Lake ice cracks with cold
breath hangs in frozen silence
stars sparkle above.
Great horned owls hoot
bitter February night
owlets to follow.
On this frigid night,
may we share as one this fire
that burns within us?
dawn rises like an old god waking, casting silver breath across the fields
soft spirits wander through the meadow, stirring wind in tall, listening grass
a white-horned stag lifts his gaze—myth lingers where the earth keeps its hush
led through the strangest valley
and forest this eve
with snickering, horned, little
phosphoresent faries
carried by cellulose
to my cornea
wicked and vile winged creatures
swept around my vicera until
I remembered it was just a
movie.
Form:
I saw a large shadow in the water
Something ominous coming from up high
She hit the water with a large splash
There was a bit of a battle but not much
Horned owl took off holding her catch
Her wingspan was enormous
The catfish stopped squirming
Our love.
A rhapsody,
Pinwheel of magic....
Your golden horned, soft laughter
Spinning
Prancing
Turning,
Sliding
Into my world of candy dreams!
Dazzled,
My heart sighs for you!
My love a rhapsodizing imbalance!

Priest Who Would Like To Paint
We hired a priest who would want to paint;
So he had shot selfie of himself as a saint,
And then he did appear,
To be long horned steer,
When parish saw him they started to faint.

Another poem for you poetry lovers.
animals were on a mission, sent to help the world.
Dogs thought it up, invited cats. Birds heard and horned in.
We looked like Noah’s ark on a bike, rushing to save someone.
Trouble is, no one remembered who we were to save.
Enthusiastic rescuers without listening ears
Does green tea reduce cell damage
Do losers always lose
Does the whom from whom does the bell toll for
change the who
Does the unicorn make you wonder
why did the romans have a word
for one horned.
Words dead or lost
and births of the prast
to perceive something new
If more than just one hippo
Are hippopotami,
Do you guess a pair of rhinos
Would be pronounced rhinoceri?
And if you crossed a rhino
With a hippo, do you guess
You'd get a horned hippoceros?
Or an angry rhinopotamus?
Form:
Unicorns are not all that desirable as a pet!
For playing leapfrog with one you'll surely regret,
Overlooking the unicorn's formidable one-horned threat!

Trophy Hunters eradicated lesser one-horned.
Traditional medicine was reasoned then killed.
The colonial era malignant apartheid seized.
Tragic wildlife ranches endangered.
Tremendous Javan Rhinos died.
Tied mud wallow was converted, the game started.
Trapped maggoting man heart wolfed.
