A Haiku
Branches holding slimy, leafy, hopping...
ear buzzing... sticky Two-edged sword whipping -
neon articulations!
there once was a cook kangaroo
who escaped an animal zoo
but a bread bubble gin
did fortunately win
head chef at a circus revue.
A sweaty summers’ eve
in reckless days of youth
Bar hopping with my buddy
Alas, closing time drew nigh
Reluctantly, we drove home
in reverse…
Matilda blew her didgeridoo
With wallabies hopping two by two
Some dingoes dropped by
To eat Shepherd's pie
Then off they went with a kangaroo.
