Drawing up a budget

Survivors muffle the scuffles... 

United Nations hoisting peace,
United we are,

A heat wave was blowing,
The sun was roasting clouds,
The army vehicles were hiding,
The sandy dirt was flying heap,
And pouring as showers of rain.

The soldiers were going forward,
With their pointing gun, 
A bottle of water and rock sack,
A loaded man was walking,
In a sweat pool under his hat. 

Fear was crossing a side,
Death was honouring a pride,
A dignity for a nation,
A price for liberty,
A human paid to a human as enemy....

Wondering, Pondering
What the morning brings

Another day is dawning

We float and find
The reality of our eyes
The inner self, the divine

Tragic thralls
Have no time to learn new ways
Life is death, fear leads their way, to die of loyalty

Conflict helps us grow and change
No time to share our wisdom, our love, our kindness
Bodies bloodied red, countries souls lie dead

Silent, sublime, a shrine for hopes and prayers
A peaceful corner honouring the spirit world
Tibetan relics that speak gently to my heart
Sacred sage, crystals and burning candles
Rolling veil of burning incense over nightly ritual
A virtual fountain releasing blessings to the world
Honourable holy mecca for my soul
