The Mystery

As the sun goes and retires without idea of his abode.
So did the LORD GOD YAHWEH in mystery abode.

Love I

LOVE THAT IS SO HIGH....

WILL PUT YOU IN A DEEP SLEEP...

KEEP ONE EYE OPEN.............

........PLEASE.................

Pardon

You say I cry?
I say I have trash in my eye
You say I'm fake?
I say I try
You say without me you would die
I say I too would die

Pentameter Pain

Iambic pentameter--such a pain,
Draining and straining this old poet's brain.

Atheist

For you atheists that wouldn't say 'JESUS CHRIST is Lord'.
Oh,I caught you; you just said 'JESUS CHRIST is Lord.'

Premium Member The Queen of Day

The Queen of Day in cool array
Dances her gay dewdrop ballet
Her morning rays light up the skies
She lifts the Lord of Night’s disguise.

When I Tell My Husband ,

When I tell my husband-"Together forever",
He near tumble and Got a tremor.
He is so sensitive- my love,
As in a cage the frightened dove!

The Promise of Fruition

Chuckie, oh that evolution song,
To walk and feed, and come along,
To avoid some but always be true,
To your principles and not go blue.

Vote For Hillary

Don't vote Trump who’s just not in,
Because that would be a huge sin,
Hillary’s not guilty of any emailing,
So don't tip the vote, be affirming.

Premium Member Abebe Bikila

Blisters from shoes, hampered his speed
Banters from foes, sauntered to bleed
Ran barefooted, marathon booted
Ethiopia on his feet, milestone in feat.

Fester

I think Christian fundamentalists tight,
Know the word fester as if it’s right,
When they’re only claiming to plant,
A seed to nurture you in your quadrant.

Camping

Sky’ turning from sun rising morning dew.
Camping in the woods green lit sparkly view.
Starting a campfire to make breakfast.
Then to the lake fishing for greatness.

Morning Prayer

Thank you, Lord, for this new day,
Help me to serve you in everyway,
Help me to be kind, and help me to be good,
Please teach me how to live by your Holy Word.
Amen.

In Age We Learn

In age we Learn.

I have never been afraid of defeat.
Even when I was half dead lying in the streets.
As long as your living you are winning.
I wear a cross and so far I have no life lose.

Big Mistake

He created man
as a dream to be
an experiment in a bottle
to be kept you see
he created the world
as a place to be free
but someone opened the bottle
and set man on a spree

Big Mistake

I Wish, Just One Time

It seems like every time I express myself to some one they take a knife and stab me in the
heart
I just wish that one time in my life that I could just find the right one and be happy for
the rest of our lives

A lovely, red rose on the sidewalk lay.
As the pain of the sad day you went away.

Alone, bereft, crying, all hope seemed gone.
I took her home, to sing yet another song.

Brown Ice...

Brown Ice...

In the freezes of the winter summer-sets.
A brown icy lake then the sky turns burnett.
As the birds walk on ice infront of the trees.
Looking for nuts, shelter., for comfort from the winter breeze.

Double Entendre

Does it really have to rhyme?
I'm not entirely sure
It simply takes me so much Thyme
Like it's a herbal cure

Perhaps it is to make you laugh
Is merely what is kneeded
Like dough and other moulding stuff
No creativity impeded

Let Love Be Universal

As you see there is a great fall
Let love stretch its hands being universal
Let us love each other and all,
It has a great power see you will
Under one condition is that it must be real
Then we all will laugh you as well.

Premium Member Like Burnt-Out Logs

Like burnt-out logs on ice-cold firedogs nudge, emotions crumble at tentative touch.
In Iambic Pentameter: Stressed syllables are in bold.

Silent Strength

The golden eagle flies through the clouds so swift and easy,
And a tree with nest is her stay for years of three;
One or two fledgling young espouse colour as marking,
Hear her calling them, just them, when elegantly swooping.
