Existing when it seemingly feels like it?
It is virtually counter-intuitive,
With properties we usually associate
with God......
i wake up in the morning
on comes the news
same foolishness and bickering
same pettiness and insanity
same old sh*t different day
shake my head 'cause here we go again !

Coffee toast and three paracetamols
Here we go again
I must finish my poem I say
No more slip of the pen
Coffee will keep me awake
Toast to settle my stomach
Paracetamols to ease my headache
I wish I was lying in a hammock
Caught in a full on dog fight
already grabbed by the throat
cacophony of growling
orbiting through my mind
playing a dangerous game
here we go again
overthinking, shouting
nothing nice to say
yet I sit here, silence screaming.

Your colors wrap around my dimension
In other words here we go again
My glorious accusation
The stifled flights
I was stolen from our mother
Celestial moons are finding their way to the breakfast table
I’m too tired to feast
My neck aches
My heart flutters
Here we go again
Another set of eyes to fall
Deep within
But I don't know
If I should break down my walls
Cause the last time I did
It felt like touching acid
I can't seem to trust
My heart once again
But you're making it easy
To let someone in

With the same old fights
Which lead to the same old headaches
Which lead to the typical broken hearts
And it’s not like it’s a monthly event
But more like a daily one

With another messed up friendship
The one I valued so much
Falling apart in front of me
And whom do I have to blame
No one but myself

I destroy up another good thing in my life
And this is where I realize
It’s not the other people who hurt me
I do that to myself
