Escapism beside the water’s edge, as misty dawn awakes 
Great crested grebes, dressed to impress, elegantly pass me by ~ 
I took the bait – gullibly distracted from encroaching on their morning feast.

This space is lined with books for walls

For peace bears no stinging strings of violence;
Do not make PAWN of a chaste mind, 
For if you do:
Personally, a huge victory you would conceive. 
Since gullibly would such mind be
Whatever you instruct - engulfed in deep loyalty! 
Dance and get drunk in your triumph, 
Make merry like the mad medley strings of violins, 
But for every ounce of loyalty betrayed,
