She reached around
to grab a sound
It seemed to linger there
But when her fingers clutched at it
her palm held naught but air

He's on waters edge to look
For creatures of the sea
With colorful fins
To reflect rays
Water moves
To hide
Prize
Life is more than bland existence
Let thy spark not fade away,
Meet ennui with firm resistance

Start your day
With a vise-like grip
About its throat
And shake the living sxit
Out of it, then
finish with a wink,
An aside to nature,
who worries for you
more than you may think.
Now if my house was on fire,
What would I grab?
I would snatch up my dog,
And run out my door.
She is irreplaceable.
One of the family.
I would lose my computer,
All my clothes,
Just to know,
She was safe.
Grab education
Continue to go with the flow
Open your mind thoroughly
So you can grow
Be that stellar scholar
That takes everything in stride
Fill your world with knowledge
And keep everything in line
They come and go, life's ups and downs
Keep your head above water, try not to drown
It's a beautiful adventure
Grab the brass ring and remember
With it's joys and pitfalls, it's the only show in town
Grab my hand and trust me
I hope your touch don't rush me
into pain that is going to crush me
then make me want to flush these

If kidnappers grab me, I will kick out their tail lights
Put my hand out and wave to other drivers on the freeway
If this does not work, I will kick the trunk until it pops open
I will wave down the police
If the kidnappers stop and chase me
I will lie on the ground and hold onto the grass
If that does not work, I will tie their shoestrings together

Incompetent and scared
You’ll get caught
With your fingers
All unprepared
To carve the image
You have made
Say what you know
And never forget
To grow in grace
For you were placed
Here to change
The status quo
Being formal but kind
Will help you pass
The structures set
For your decline
Grab the rail
And hold on
While life sails
Cover your head
Note the haven
And return
With the next tide
Now that testing positive
Makes one a sex fugitive
Would you your thing or bum
Keep a distance from condom?
When passions surge
And sex is the urge
Isn’t it your dirge
To with “The Managed” merge?
And who would a dagger grab,
When it has begun to stab
Or disdain a rescue cab
While some squad seeks to you nab?
When it’s reasonable to dodge
And you won’t even budge
A bullet might you nudge
Like an angered serge!
