Sick

One word can heal me
but also can kill me
a good word brings the dead to life
but a bad one can kill even a healthy person

if so, what about the sick one?!

I'm heartsick that "gals" no longer remain
Gals are called guys, how completely insane

Your charms we so lack
It's a good word that we must now regain

Premium Member Vanity

Plump went with Pulchritude
  to try on a dress
The tears in her eyes
  bespoke Plump's distress

Pleasing put in a good word
  Pleasant chimed in too
But all was in vain
            ~ as Pulchritude knew

Timelessness

A seeming

Good word

Among words

Even if all

Are of equal

Quality and

Import..

Timelessness

Is empty of

Time..yet

All appearances

Of time are

Inseparable

Timelessness...

Ginormous :: Dunim

Combining only two words to form. Gigantic means too large. Enormous just shows sense of excess. Both above normal norm, use for notable stress. But, its reuse may be to splurge. It's not good word to conform. ~x~x~

Premium Member Would You Meet Me Sometime

Would you meet me sometime
   At the space in between
The corner of reckless schism
And the street of broken dreams?

I just covet a good word or two -
So long as we break silence -
And I will collect an echo
   Then leave and recommence.

Being Into the Oven of Love

as you are in the oven of love,
burning by love day and night.
understanding that being in the oven of love,
It is the good process to be polished
by true love.
so give love time to make  you bright
like precious diamond
your name will be " lovebound"
After hearing loving good word.

Autumn

Endings starting
Leaves are turning
Grass starts browning with
Furnaces burning.
Colder weather
As to focus,
Deeper feelings in
Shallow harvest.
Briskly, daunting
Haunting Spirits
Barren-halled reckonings as
Frost encroaches.
Verdure withered but
Perhaps a good Word;
forgotten pasts buried
In the stillness of the earth.

Hair Style and Regular Flossing

Sometimes I meet people not even meeting them
When I like what they say
And then I really feel there are things above poetry
Which I love with my honest heart

I will be checking for spelling, grammar, hair style, and regular flossing
Mostly I do it all the time as I love good word but also good

MORNING RITUAL I shake off thoughts, as I awaken, replaced by cocoa beans and faith. Remembering, I’m not forsaken, I shake off thoughts, as I awaken. Open the book, it’s true — I’m shaken. The Spirit stirs what GOOD WORD saith. I shake off thoughts as I awaken, Replaced by cocoa beans and faith. 12/16/2017 Morning Ritual Poetry Contest/Line Gauthier

Premium Member Crossroads

If you are at a crossroad, try the church with that name.
Sinners and saints are all glad that they came.
You can feel God’s presence in this southern place,
And friends come each week to bask in His grace.

With voices like angels, each week the choir sings,
To prepare for the sermon the preacher will bring.
Sharing the good word, he keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Hearing the gospel has never been such a treat!

My Savior My Lord

My Savior my Lord
on Christmas day
my savior was born
under the star of Bethlehem
in a manger
so long long ago

baby Jesus lying there
in swaddling clothes
as three Kings present their gifts
shepherds kneeling on the ground
Angles flying all around
declaring a new King of Kings was born

to bring the good word
of heaven above
blessed be my lord and savior
born on Christmas day
who loves me more then I can say

My Faith

On the wings of a dove
Or the wings of a pigeon
I will not budge
Not even a smidgen

My faith in the lord
Is so strong it is rigid
I help out the poor
Cause of my religion

A Sheppard is he
That tends to his herd
If you open your ear
And hear his good word

He was put on a cross
For all our transgressions
We had a great loss
But we learned some great lessons

I will always be good
To the people I know
As we all should
Let our love show

Weakness

By:D.E.T

You stick your nose in my business
So, you can listen to my weakness
Am I surprise that you used my weakness

No, not really
Cuz I feel pity
Cuz you thought
That what you heard
Was a good word

To listen
You tellin' me you're a cold hearted
Good, let's get it started
Cuz a cold hearted
Doesn't fall in love

Listen you wanna be a cold hearted
That's what you wanna be
I got a weakness

Yeah, I struggle
With my troubles

Premium Member Measure Of A Man

Measure Of A Man
 Humble Beginnings.
 Always giving.
 Put himself last.
 Hard working hands.
Long days toil under the sun.
 Easy to talk to.
 Food on the table.
 Always grateful.
 With lines on his face.
 A good word to say.
 Never complain.
 Always a gentleman.
 Carry the burden.
 With heavy lifting.
 Take timeout to listen.
 With great characteristics.
It’s not about his bank account.
 Just down to earth.
 An old soul.
 Sometimes all alone.

The zephyr that I couldn't dismiss
And pouring rain only sounds heard
Then the Spirit gave a good word

I Am Dying For a Good Poem

I AM DYING FOR A GOOD POEM

I am dying… for a good poem
A good word put together to take me out, into space
I need a good word to ease my worry
I need one that helps me grow
One to save my lonely day
I’m longing for one that has meaning that doesn’t confuse me
I’m dying for a poem written with care
One that opens my eyes for the first time, in a long time
I'm dying for a kind that fills me up, full brim...
Flat on the ground…for a poem that has meaning... to my life
I am here…I'm over here
