Often those worries and negative thoughts rise as I open my morning eyes. Embracing thoughts of God and faith thwart a troubled mind. 

Morning Ritual

MORNING RITUAL

I shake off thoughts, as I awaken,
replaced by cocoa beans and faith.
Remembering, I’m not forsaken,
I shake off thoughts, as I awaken.
Open the book, it’s true — I’m shaken.
The Spirit stirs what GOOD WORD saith.
I shake off thoughts as I awaken,
Replaced by cocoa beans and faith.
