My sister called to let me know she is the good one.
Great! I told her. You are a Saint!
Silence.
Not what she was hoping for, apparently.

Premium Member not much to say

Soothsayer indicates she should pull a card.
It is the Eight of Swords
Not a good one
Then she pulls the Tower
Worst card of all

God Picks Up the Bad Fish

God picks up the bad fish
And keeps the good one for me
"You may fall sick if you eat this bad one
So I pick the bad
So that you can pick the good"

Only God Can Help

                                                   in decaying condition

One that has not reason or chime
Just follows close behind

Good one shows all great emotion
Position can cause commotion

Premium Member My Toes Are Curled

Today's a good one as I chuckle to myself What could go wrong, loved and in good health On top of the world My toes are curled They point to the skies as my happiness swells

Limerick

I love a fine Limerick rhyme; a good one will take you some time. You toil through the night, to get it just right. Perfection is truly sublime!

Stupid Heart

My heart is naughty,
it causes me pain.
Falls in love
time and again.
Never chooses a nice guy,
just the ones
that cheat and lie.
Listen up heart,
do what you're told.
Choose me a good one,
before I'm too old.

I Wonder

I wonder if you ever think
Of the decision that you made
A choice that was all you
Yesterday I thought it was a bad one
Today I think it was a good one
Tomorrow I know it was a great one

Hearts in the market

If hearts were sold in the market, People would stand in queue Fighting for buying the good one Without realising that the best in the world is inside them. -Thaqiya/lazybirdnest

Again, too late for the contest, and, I had another, not so good one entered. But, this one
arrived in that thick skull of mine and I wrote it down and posted it anyway.

In Carelessness

in carelessness sometimes beauty is there
                                     carefulness sometimes remains bare

having personalty if good one does
who sees smiles without any grudge

Premium Member Life Is Life

Life is life
Not always fair?
You bet
You simply play
With the cards you're dealt
Just live it
Fully
Laugh at it
When it
Knocks you down
Get back up
Keep on keeping on
You only have one life
So
Make it a good one

Premium Member No King Solomon, I

A woman's right to her body
  A baby's right to life
Over this conflict of interests
  America's witnessed much strife

I'm only a poet; no King Solomon, I
  Can't say that I have a solution ~
Just hope that a good one is found soon
So there's no need for revolution
