It started so long ago
From the beginning mankind
With persistence and smoke
And a glimmer of hope
We rally in its wake
Listen to poem:
divine serenity
in the sweetness
of midnight glimmer
breathtaking
your beauty
i remember

a glimmer
a glimpse
a gloaming glance
a flash
a fleck
a fleeting flicker
ghost?
goblin?
ghoul?
We may never know
patches of coarse green grass
seem like raw silk yarn
pearls of dew supple them
glimmer as dyed green linen
Place: 3rd
one
chinese
lantern flies
against backdrop
of ebony skies
lambent light dims
beneath rise
of moon
full
My heart beats faster
My lips tingle excitedly
My eyes glimmer
My hold tightens
My kiss deepens
His expression grows warmer
Seeds of hope,
glimmer in the womb of midnight,
waiting to be born of our dreams.
I noticed stab sites.
My bereavement was shattered.
Tidal surge of loss
Tomorrow's gaping abyss
Left a hope glimmer hanging
Glimmer in the sky
Leaves a trail of powdered white
Roar engulfs the ground
Hundreds of souls are shuttled
At nearly the speed of sound
My eyes
without yours,
have no glimmer...
I live without sun
in the obscurity...
from a cracked window:
glimmer of light starts to peep
cleansing my old thoughts

A silent parade of spice and steam above me
Glasses of water glimmer like crystals in a cave
Low yellow light melts over me
“May I take your order?”
Sunset A Blaze of Color
red, golden sunset
as the day melts away to
night's starlight glimmer

A glimmer of light
stocatto blinks
puzzling
observatories
frantically
adjusting the focus

"Even the night has a glimmer of light. Only resilience and hope will guide us to its warmth."

shimmering stars
glimmer like diamonds
light up the sky, close my eyes
a wish for world peace
hangs in the air
an empty space
where hope touched the earth
Be rather a silver with its own glimmer
That glows in the dark on its own
Than a diamond with a borrowed luster
That lays futile till the coming of dawn
I was a glimmer, I was a spark, I was a flame, I was a flare
Now
I am a dying ember
soon
I will be ashes
True
but I have known the fire and passion of love
I was a glimmer, I was a spark
I was a flame, I was a flare
Now
I am a dying ember
Soon
I will be ashes
True
But I have known the passion and fire of love
Eyes
My heart takes in
as you look my kin.
I dream your eyes
which is the guise,
Love flows like river
in the twinkling glimmer.

NJagged cracks on the wooden door
Let brilliant rays of morning sun pour
When specks of dust sashay in their radiance
They glimmer, like golden flickering fireflies.
A glimmer of hope is all you need
Now give it your best in thought and deed
Don't wait around for a hole a mile wide
'Midst such a hole lies a mudslide
Moonbeams chase dark shadows away
Casting a glimmer on the sea
As palm trees begin to sway
A song rides the waves with glee
Its melody is the shore's plea
dawn lifts its pale glimmer
mist drifts low
a single bird trills a soft note
the stream brightens,
dew gathers stories
the world feels newly made
