The Sky
The sky should give off a
unique smell that tells us
when to
clean out
long overdue unwanted items in
our drawers.
Moonbeams
Miracle Man
8/28/2024
Moonbeams give off light,
but mostly when moon is full.
Sometimes it's darkness.
The full moon shines very bright,
When full it give off a pretty lite.
Is it made of cheese,
I want some with crackers please.
If only I could get a big bite.
Don’t be Foolish
For you to accomplish
And finally flourish
Take your time
With your art and polish
Don’t just preach
And give off a perfect speech
Truly practice what you teach
Than your purpose you shall reach
there are flowers for
every occasion
upon birth
upon death
two people becoming one
some flowers give off
a beautiful fragrance
and some that shine
like spun silk
flowers grow and bloom
as sun fades to moon
and colors blend
like spindled thread
You have brightened my days,
Touched my heart with your dazzling art!
What phenomenal spirits you are,
That give off such magical light!
Good night and I will see you in my
Dreams this very night!

The impression that you give off
is that of regression
unable to
withstand the need
the backlash
the challenge that only
i can provide.
Oh. Now i'm disillusioned?
Pretty words and promises
are not enough to
sustain a soul,
especially the raw one
inside.
PAY ATTENTION AND GIVE PRAISES TO GOD
Never let it be said
That it's all in your head
Allow yourself to be brief
Give off that quick relief
Praise God
Never let it be done
The work you've just begun
And allow yourself
That second breath
Give praises to God
11/23/18
Each day, you pull us into a trance.
Just by breathing in your sleep.
And when you are awake-
You wander the house with some unknown initiative.
Taking residence near us.
Near our conversations.
To give off a fascinating meow.
As if to imprint your presence.
Give me a sign
That life is worth living
When I think it’s not important
To go on in a senseless society
I need potent proof
But I now realize
The signal of value
Is in each breath you take
And as you exhale
I quickly take in what you give off
That’s all the confirmation I need

The snow has fallen
my feet are getting cold
The window is frosted
any color at all looks bold
The branches are brittle
her blanket remains unused
A heart should give off a little-
warmth when confused
The ground has harden
on this unpassionate day
My vision may be clear
But all I feel is gray
I AM THE HEAT THAT PLAYS FOREVER
I AM THE HEAT THAT STAYS ON THE CORT
I AM THE HEAT THAT WON 19 GAMES IN THE ROLL
I AM THE HEAT THAT GIVE OFF FIRE AND HEAT WHEN I AM PLAYING FOR MY PEOPLE
I AM THE HEAT MAKES MY FANS GO ON FIRE WHEN I WHEN THE GAME
I AM THE HEAT THAT LOVE MY TEAM
I AM THE HEAT.....
There are some pumpkins
Some well-lit Jack-O-Lanterns
That guard the front gate
Of the dark haunted mansion
Where ghosts and spirits fly free
The air permeates
With an aura of evil
When a mist arrives
Carries through the blackest night
Just the pumpkins give off light

Coals
Turn white
That give off
Heat for cooking,
Now season the steak
And then place on the grill,
Then when it starts to sizzle
Start turning so it doesn't burn,
Cook throughly to your perfection
Then enjoy with salad, fries and cold beer.
Written 12th June 2021.
A stone cannot be dissolved
Hardly can be changed
But when encounter the same species
Will rub against to give off sparks
To set a fire
Birds of the same feathers flock together
Even a stonely heart has his friends
And loved ones
(Based on the story of a mother who did not believe that her soft-temper son is an aggressive robber. )
heavy is the night
balmy breezy eve
moon insanely bright
powerful place to grieve
ghosts paraded in his mind
urging him to leave
I think it was vastly kind
This was the night demons prowl
Soul dreams of his did bind
heard large cat give off a yowl
was this then to be his end?
now I heard a white wolf’s growl
hoot of owl against the wind
let him know he was his friend
A life time
where one it seems
feels whatever will be, will be,
when one cannot take the love
that one wants to give,
in a one sided love affair
is normal.
Till the recipe changes
then the ingredients become
of a different mix,
one of harmony
that blends together
to give off
a reflection
of love returned,
then like the golden sunrise
becomes perpetual;
now that’s normal!

I love Christmas trees
I love the smell they give off
I love decorating them
And seeing them shiny and lit up
I love Christmas trees
They give me hope
They give me peace
They give me comfort
I love Christmas trees
They make me feel happy
They make me feel joy
I love Christmas trees
I love Christmas trees especially all decorated with Christmas lights
Oh I so love Christmas trees
Leaping through hoops of fire looking for relief
Brearh sagging to the lowest depths where my
eyes can no longer see into the flesh but
begin the violent journey into catacomb halls
where ghosts stamp my brow with cold kisses
in self fullfilling ruins-no light exists exists here
except the lights we give off in our own bodies
in our own tombs already since birth
This home where we come to live so one day
we may prepare to die
You say that you can picture me sitting in my chair.
What is it that you picture when you look from over there?
Do you envision beauty or an ugly, wrinkled hag?
Does my skin give off a glow or do my wrinkles sag?
It's strange to think you picture someone you've never seen.
I could be short and squatty or maybe tall and lean.
What is the face that's given to represent this poem?
Is it of a beauty queen or just a garden gnome?
Form:
Perhaps were judged
at the end of our
journey
Not by our actions
Actions can't seen
But by our energy
and electricity we
give off to other
beings
Has a lesson been
learned?
Does every being
have one?
Is there only one
answer?
Were all so busy
trying to search
high and low
When its always been
in front of our face
Infants know what it
is
They don't know it
And don't hold onto
it
Not their fault
Cant have what isn't
taught
You never really know what’s in
Another person’s mind.
If you could look, who knows
The kind of secrets you would find.
Though face and body language
May give off a subtle clue,
It’s not enough to figure out
Or maybe misconstrue.
So you can guess, though there’s a chance
That what you had assumed
Is far from the reality
Mistakenly presumed.
The only way to know, then,
Is to come right out and ask;
Then ascertaining honesty
Becomes another task.
Inside too hot,
Outside too cold,
Temperatures on the rise,
Yet in the blink of an eye,
High becomes low,
And our noses give off a red glow.
And our toes no longer good to go.
Yet temperatures among us still rising,
With those who find the cold embracing,
Threatening an uprising,
If those who are for turning up the inside heating,
Don't start compromising.
No wonder bosses turn to drinking,
With employees too cold or too hot to be working.
Shall I compare thee to the moon’s light?
Thou art as radiant as thee,
As I gaze upon thee in the night,
You give off the light needed to see.
Thine everlasting perfection,
Brings tears to those who stare,
Thy immaculate complexion,
Is like the moonlights glare.
Thy beauty is untouchable,
Like the light side of the moon,
Thy beauty is undeniable,
And I have yet to become immune.
Thy love is forever in my sight,
For this I compare thee to the moon’s light.
Lord you kept me here with my head drawed high, thinking about the days when i though
you couldt here me or have forgotten about me, and the day i use to sat and cryed. But you
brough me a mighty long way from where i came from and for that i give you praise with
the words from mouth and the actions that i give off. I see so many people rejecting you but
me i open the door to you. Lord im keeping my hands held high and my heart poured out,
just keep me one more day.
