If a giraffe
with a sore throat
is worst
than a centipede
with a sore feet
What is worst
than a homeless
spider ?
Hey! What are you talking about?
Enjoying your safari so far?
Is there room on anyone's lap
For a petite friendly giraffe?
His windbaggery made me laugh
Tales as tall as a long giraffe
I did not believe his lies by half
Deceptive as a spotted calf
A giraffe went out to buy a car.
He didn't like nothin' that he saw'r.
Maybe, he'd be more comfortable
driving a convertible.
We recently went to the zoo,
sadly there were animals few.
Until we all saw,
which caused an uproar,
giraffes in the café shop queue.
There was a giraffe named Wot
Who got his neck tied into a knot
The animals laughed
At this silly giraffe
How shorter Wot's neck had got
have you met the zoo's new giraffe
who always enjoys a good laugh
tell her a pun
get ready for the fun
you will giggle your belly in half
The purple giraffe
Makes children laugh,
But don’t laugh too loud,
It’s not allowed,
You might wake your folks
With purple creature jokes.
The purple giraffe
Makes children laugh,
But don’t laugh too loud,
It’s not allowed,
You might wake your folks
With purple creature jokes.
Gerry the giraffe,six metres tall,
greets me over his stable stall
Hello ,as a long tongue licks my face
before we take tea please say grace
baby giraffe runs
ducks flutter in murky pond
snakes slither away
lions sneak a nap
seals entertain laughing crowd
penguins waddle by
An excited priest on the train
Was found rubbing against the grain
"You need a giraffe
To service that staff"
Some Sisters laughed in refrain
I thought I would make for a laugh
A gift for my new pet giraffe
Well I tried and I tried
Persevered till I cried
But I finally managed a scarf
Yes I would be a giraffe if I could.
Walking proudly on an African plain
Eating leaves from the highest banyan tree
Flipping my idiotic looking tail
Once I had left my tea to cool
and two giraffes thought me a fool
they stuck their heads in
and formed a big grin
before drinking my tea. How cruel!
Giraffe long slim neck
Giant black tongue eats leaves
Beautiful design
Reticulated brown
Outlined in black background of white
Fights like a tiger
A collection of ‘Love is…’ Poetry
Giraffe
Love is here!
Love is now!
Got to get my hands on it!
Somehow.

pity, I can't laugh
funny neck of that giraffe
bent down for a quaff
Behold the neck of a giraffe
Long enough to make you laugh
Can stretch over the fence in zoo
To find munchy leaves to chew
Of it's length I'm not even half!
Your baby dropped six foot to the ground?
Head first with no midwife around?
She nodded her head.
More than enough said.
Her new baby giraffe was easily found
My dream was delectable, best one yet
My name was called loudly; I did not fret
Until the class laughed
It was Mr. Giraffe
Worst math teacher in history I bet.
There was a zoo keeper named Dot
Who lost things and also forgot
‘Now where’s the giraffe’
She asked and then laughed
‘Oh there you are; get in here Spot!’
There once was a mother giraffe,
Snuck in for a snack with her calf;
“The service is slow,
The food’s just so-so,
We’ll leave leaves as tip, for a laugh!”
Hey Jeff, that's your fourth cup of Joe!
I can't help it. I feel sluggish and slow.
I've had four up at top,
But not even one drop
Has arrived at my stomach below.
Ask yer mother for sixpence,
to see the Jerry Giraffe,
freckles on his eyebrows,
and big ones on his, Ask
yer momma for sixpence
