"GHOSTS"
elusive shadows
apparitional figures
peering hollow eyes
calculating shrewd moods,
anguish mortal clarity...

sonorous leaves
lunar ghosts
Burn our bones, buried
Deep in the cemetery.
Pray for the restless
Ghosts among the living dead:
Awaken those far ahead.
Are you scared of ghosts?
Is one hiding under your toast?
What is that creaking sound?
Whoops. your poster just fell down!
Fearing ghosts is not foolish if they are ghoulish
for evil specters might haunt you Halloween night
Dating vague memories
Voice from the distant past
Do I dare brave the unknown?
Am I chasing dreams
Or am I chasing ghosts
chilliness glistens
under traffic citylamps
an abandoned road
time slowly travels little
mist chasing away the ghosts
Ebenezer Scrooge:
in literature, his impact is huge.
The Christmas ghosts did all they could
to alter him into someone good.
An illusion of power
The dreams of men
When purple-gray
Camouflage night
Cloak herself, again
Upon the
Gray ghosts of men
Had a very busy day and night so here's just a short lanterne for ya!
Ghosts
Goblins
Scary night
Surrounded by
Spooks!
there are
merciless
words that shatter joy
falling with tears of farewell
as sorrow’s wayward ghosts come fleetingly home
Don't Start Something Now
This Guy Was MEAN to Ghosts.
They Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way.

dust-hushed
spine-cracked whispers~
words trapped in vellum veins
ghosts thumbing gilt-edged tragedies
quiet
I’m fascinated
by all elephant wisdom
watching a movie
they walked through a hotel hall
as quietly as the ghosts...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
cold attic at dusk
heirloom cedar chest exhales
calico, gingham ghosts
Ghosts and spirits
Unravel this
Purple wind
Unleash your grin
The graves
Borrow deep, again,
Through the
Voices of dead men
sleeping in their
quiet graves
are
gray ghosts
with dark
amber eyes
waiting for
the moonrise
to fill
the breathless sky
By delusions,
By obsessions,
By anxieties,
By fears
I’m trapped.
They’re buried now
& will appear to me later
In ugly ways.
laundry lines
wooden clothespins
white sheets
flapping...
ghosts of my
imagination...
like Halloween
this year
disappeared
the fog rises up
from snow piles like ghosts....
cold mist flies away
~Strict Haiku 2 contest~
Suddenly, lights from a car outside.
Ghosts on a wooden floor,
created by a window and snow.
This is the way you leave the world.
Hurricane is a battalion of ghosts
Soldiered by retired women of war
The Amazons and the Catherines
To subjugate the great America
