knowledge tells us not to kill ~ wisdom knows how to get away with it

when a wise fool gets into power ~ intellectuals disappear

wisdom is knowing how to do the wrong thing ~ and make it seem just right

Deceit You Little Cheat

Eyes like daggers
Piercing into your soul
As if they know something
That only you should know

You feel your skin crawling
You feel it turn red
Never any words spoken
Hearing voices from within

The shameful feeling of guilt
Oh what have you done
Thinking you can get away with it
But baby you're already caught

The Thieves of Life

from the world around us,
&
translate, transcribe, appropriate &
reinterpret---
making something new.

we produce work when confronted
and while some get beat,
jailed,
sued,
censored,
& more often than anything---
simply ignored or
disregarded---
some of us
get away with it all.

we have committed the perfect crime,
you and i.

Premium Member A Crime of Passion

As I pushed the knife in deeper,
There was excitement in the air.
As I made the angle steeper,
I didn't have a single care.

Even as red began to ooze,
I thought I'd get away with it.
I was careful to leave no clues;
A little cocky, I'll admit.

Even though I did clean the knife,
And thought I had cleaned up the place,
I have but one regret in life.
I left cherry pie on my face.

Freedom

Fiction gives me freedom
Freedom to drive any car and be at par with the czar
Freedom to take action against corruption
Freedom to brandish my gun and shoot for fun
Freedom to deride my wife and control my life
Freedom to be Mr. Loverman, the man with a master plan
Freedom to be Bond, Holmes and Powers all in one
Freedom to murder my president and get away with it
But fiction aint reality, is it?

Premium Member Me Thunk

Took one or two shortcuts
Thunk I’d get away with it
But it cartainly caught up with me

No time for winning
Now that I’m paying
I’m out of balance

‘Twas meant to pass
But one by one
Let slip my good habits

Thunk I’d take a break
But life got in the way
Let priorities slip and slide

Bad habits have a way
To overtake good habits
Say adios and hello chaos

Premium Member Introductions

Let me introduce
David Dennison - wealthy,
dirty-minded man.

Credit card in hand
and his pornographic plans,
for sex on demand.

Little girls attract
him - his daughter's body
teases and distracts him.

Of course Jeff Epstein
knew the way of it - the pay
& get away with it.

David’s lawyers
smoothed the way - and he’s the
President today.

*David Dennison is Donald Trump's alias in non-disclosure agreements with prostitutes*
