My View
A business man’s journey to work.
A glance at his watch as he is getting late.
Little children playing together.
I gave you a gift.
Metal round container box.
A chained reaction.
A furred up coat.
A cold winter night that never ended....

Word Words
A nerd slurred a word unheard, to be his preferred password.
A bird flew over a furred herd, be-gird by a Kurd.
He stirred and blurred, to a curd a third of turd.
But undeterred he spurred the transferred word, to be heard and conferred.
To reword the inferred referred word, to be deferred is just absurd....

He waits in a sylvan wood mentor cloaked in orange and black; courage is the lesson of this spirit of prey. Empirical justice is the swords he wields; a traveler of astral light; journeyman of the stars. Daughter of Artemus, and lifelong totem hunting ethereal woodlands sustenance of my soul; silken-furred guide, I melt into your gentility... teach me.

Premium Member Life's Last Meal
was saying "good't mornin"
...to the bird-seed eaters...
both feathered and furred

...as...

a local golden eagle
...on its daily soar...
flew by high over the trees

...then...

seed-eaters and i went quiet
...at the sound of a splat...
as brown lumps hit the sun deck

...now...

the eagle flew quickly past
...it's claws prey passed too...
its last meal gone meant it was ready to chew

stan sand...

Kind and cute not for me and my hearts’ desire
A Rogue i’d Pick out of the line to simply light my fire

Chemistry and thighs of steal and IQ rather high
Easy going all his teeth never ask me Why?

Yes to me and never No a lover in my bed
Strong willed lean self respect never overfed

Love of creatures great and small
Furred and feathered short and tall

A life of grace two souls shall meet
Through laughter love a life so sweet...

Catching a Glimpse
A half white half black cat did walk across the landscape,
	Appearing before it a figure cloaked in light;
Squinting its eyes, the sleek furred mammal readied an escape
A hand quickly outstretched left the four legged one with a fright.

Sprinting away the cat made haste;
Light dimming slowly, the shadowed hand gained reach,
The dual colored one’s time seemed to be of waste,
As the black shadow closed around the one who let out a piercing screech....

Buried With Your Pet
New York has a brand-new law
And graveyards must comply;
Now pets and owners may be buried
Jointly when they die.

For dogs and cats no longer need
To languish in a grave
Intended just for animals;
Their owners simply save

The ashes of their favorite pet,
The feathered or the furred,
So when the owner’s time has come,
Together they’re interred.

What happens next we cannot know
But with this new endeavor,
Eternity will now provide
For scooping poop forever!...

Backyard Fuzziness
Backyard mavens, wise crones
recall generations of groundhogs
that have dwelt in these hedgerows.

In winter
they seed the ground with 'Puffcorn Delites'
bought wholesale from Sam's Club.
The comfortable groundhogs nap in their burrows
contemplating evening feasts.

Furred paws in tartan house slippers
shuffle at back doors. A grey whiskered fuzziness
that is part critter, part elderly granny
stand ever ready
to lend a hand in case baby groundhogs
need burping....
