Once ran Frankensteins blood
over my hair,

Frankenstein
I often feel like Dr Frankensteins creation.
Abandoned and shunned.
Fatherless.
Searching for my creator to find some answers.
Why? did you do this but never love me.
I became a castaway in a harsh world
Just looking for peace.

Poets and Plastic Surgeons
Poets and plastic surgeons-whittling away
adding here, subtracting there
bandaging a verse or stitching a face

and so in midst of abundance
we yet choose to trauma bond
with ghosts we’re accustomed to
should we laugh
or cry
at our piquant dilemma

Monsters Madness
Thunder rumbles lightning flashes.
Druids chant rhythmic runes.
Electrifying tonights mood.
Tis Draculas Halloween bash.
Wolfman arrived in a mask
And his houndstooth zoot suit.
Six witches with red sashes
Flew loops on hickory brooms.
If Frankensteins' bride laughs
It sounds like raspy kazoos.
Ten fashionable tom cats
Wore bat festooned top hats.
As The Ghouls band played bassoons.
At Count Draculas bashes
Each dance is monster's Madness.
But the punch was new hemlock brew....
