Unfold, now behold
The truth of how all answers
Are hidden within
Every folded, small facet;
Every fibre part of you....

"the Fortune Teller"
They call me a furtive old fella
And scoff at the fortunes I tella,

a hoax you would call it
as you look for your wallet,

And I vanish before you can yella!...

Fortune Teller
The fortune teller foretold
Of heartache and cold
Like the fates of old
She said she knew things untold

But my future
Is in my hands alone
So I paid her fee
And went on my way

I bid her farewell
Me and Santiago...

Premium Member Fortune Teller Tells a Clown
He was dressed like a circus clown for his grandma made him.
He thought it made him look silly, thoughtless and dim.
She was dressed as a fortune teller full of liveliness vigor and vim.
She told him his fortune and knew she would grow up and marry him....

Rendezvous
We went to a fortune teller
After we met through penfriend letters
Having written since nine and ten
We went to a fortune teller
Marriage was her main prediction
We married with complete conviction
We went to a fortune teller
After we met through penfriend letters...

One fortune teller to another, “we’re going to have a hot summer” The second one says “like the summer of 2092, that was a hummer?” All wore metallic shorts Special shields to cover our warts Remember when girl robots showed their i-bums and had multitasking udders

Premium Member feeling loved and protected
the Bohemian fortune teller smiled.
her dancing amber eyes were beautiful.
You have a spirit guide who loves you very much, she said.
She wants you to “hold on tightly to your dreams”.
My mother often said this to me.
I could not stop crying, feeling loved, honored and protected....

Golden Ram
A fortune teller told the Golden Ram
The boy would slit his throat and hang his fleece.
‘Oh, what an ingrate,’ cried the ram in shock.
He then refused to help and grew obese.

* just some silliness - in the real version, the Golden Ram rescues Phrixus and then the boy sacrifices him

for Shadow's contest...

Premium Member Fortune Teller
A young damsel was,
Walking in the green forest,
Searching for the old gypsy,
Known by palm readings,
Predicting about present,
With a great accuracy.

The gipsy told to,
The damsel that if she wants,
To predict her future life,
Only have to look,
How was living nowadays,
To know the foresight foresee.

Swallow
Death and Life
swallow each other,
like a double headed exotic snake
devours the tiny rodent
as it thinks its' just a shadow
on the trail at sunset.
The dead, sitting with an appointed spiritual master,
someone he would have
disregarded in life,
now only wishes for a chance at reincarnation,
while the living
pay a fortune teller
to find out
what he's up to
on the other side....

Premium Member Sour Sadness
Natural born poet,
like when star crossed lovers meet;
Serendipitous;
A fortune teller planned it,
the wrong place at the right time;

The Sun’s tears of rain
as they find a perfect sky;
Chaotic canvas
that settles to harmony
but leaves the wildest of roots;

Crazy for a fall;
letting go when you’re upside down;
Roller coaster;
Bliss a natural born poet,
sour sadness can pen a book....

Lifes Fortune Teller
The fortune teller of life
Tells a complicated story
One never knows it’s glory
Some rich and some poor
Traveling though time
One day, month or year
All seeing the same differently
The poor see the rich and,
The rich see the poor
Yet, through their eyes
They are both the same
One travels in comfort
The other travels to survive
Both facing the same outcome
Blending them together

In The End...

Premium Member You Do Believe In Magic Right
We could change the world
Everyone would be peaceful
There would be no killings or brutality
If we believed in magic

I stared at the fortune teller
What did she know that I did not know?
Was she on the right track?
I wished it was that easy

Help me get things turned around
Let’s raise the vibration of the world.
Give me your hand, she suggested.
You do believe in magic, right?

I sure wanted to now....

Premium Member Glorious Gypsy Queen
Fortune teller with beautiful face
Opened her wagon, a gorgeous place
Light and lithe, mysterious and lean,
She was the glorious gypsy queen.

I sat in awe of the candle’s glow,
Ready to see a tarot’s show.
A circus phantom not often seen,
She was the glorious gypsy queen.

She foretold a happy life for me.
Creating goodness, feeling carefree.
Self-assured, spectacular, wisely keen,
She was the glorious gypsy queen....

Fortune Scammer
Flashing crystal ball
Sparkling in hands
Tell me wonderful things
About my dreamy future
A wheel of fortune

Tell me numbers
Stars I should stare
Signs and symbols
In night of morning air
Best luck is right there

Endearing words!
Powerful as it seems
But I just wonder
Where do these come from?
Mind or in the deepest bottom?

Send me letters
Get my card number
Think I should know
You’re a fortune teller
A fortune scammer....

Life Is a Carnival
Life is a carnival ride you pay IRS and get nothing back
It’s an elephant and a donkey one has a nose like Pinocchio
The other is a jackass both in separate cages
Much like a fortune teller, they never tell the truth

The house or mirrors tricking people into believing
What is not true then trowing darts at each other
Trying to pop each others balloons all filled with empty air
At the end of the show we have empty pockets

Filling theirs to the brim....

Premium Member Savanna Tells Fortunes At the Fair
Savanna had the prettiest blue-black hair
Azure ebony, some call these fat ringlets
I watch her mesmerize the crowd
She is the quintessential fortune teller

Most want her attention – men and women
She has the best predictions,
Nothing gloomy or dire
No terrifying warnings

Her fortunes are given to the fairgoers lovingly
Her kindness is as prominent as her beauty
People feel her star power, wanting more
She gives all, and there is nothing better than that...

Premium Member never again
Fortune teller squirrel gives me the old once-over
I squirm a bit, like my half-blind eye, Cocker Spaniel, Rover.
I see that you think you are special, she says, glaring at me.
Feeling uncomfortable, I wonder how great this teller can be.

Feeling superior because you are a human being, I bet.
I am annoyed at this second, I clear my throat and kick Chet.
Chet is my cousin who thought this squirrel was so good.
Never again! I say as we leave, as if I ever could…....

Premium Member The Fortune Teller
The fortune teller
I am the fortune teller
I came to talk
Of you the future
So pay attention
And listen
Else you wont understand
The voice of the air
When its blows
For the fisherman understands
The waves of the sea when it flows
We make life
We don't take life
Walking the truthful way
Is an everlasting treasure
That which is forever
But walking the wrong way
Leads you to a lake of fire
Life is beautiful
So be hopeful
Make sure you are
Not deceived by vanity
For this is your destiny...

The Fortune Seeker
THE FORTUNE SEEKER

The parrot peeps through the tiny window

The fortune teller coaxes it to take a bow

Expecting keenly the parrot from the cage

to come out and gently pick a page

to tell his future; the young man wants to know

Looking at the ceiling, he recalls his past

Confined to bed, the old man looks lost

His near and dear ones desert him

like passing clouds; pastures not green as it seem

With blessings for all, he waits to breathe his last
