HAPPENING FROM AFAR

I BLAME IT ON THE ADVERTISEMENTS 
I BLAME IT ON THE GOVERNMENT
I BLAME IT ON THE SCHOOLS
AND I BLAME IT 
ON 
EVERY ONE 
OF THOSE FAGGING FOOLS...

purple rain will fall on the faces he foresaw
when he sang shrill and wailed on guitar
as nobody had ever done before.
Hearts will bruise the pain of being
with each insistent beat, 
feeding nerve endings, bone deep,
blood forming fists like buds full of scent
to battle "and blossom in purple and red."

there is an onomatopoeia for this
something similar to uffff
the calm day that I foresaw as tense
only showed a slight displacement
almost imperceptible of neurons
then the feeling of falling
on a cushioned precipice
in the papillae a taste of honey
wrapping the future
in the pupils clearer images
of a path that I will find...
but still i'm lost
where can I find that right guide
that allows me to really get to myself
without the jolts of an anxious heart?...
