With each heart beat, time slips away
So live for the moment, celebrate today
Although, for the moment, we are shores apart;
we're still welded together by a loyal heart.

Midnight Snack
Hollow eyes watching
Wait for the moment to pounce
Grabbing and ripping
Feeding on my flesh and blood
It saves me for another meal.
He never heard a word she said…
not in all their years
for the moment words escaped her lips
they transformed into notes
and became music to his ears.
Live for the moment
One day at a time
Borrow not sorrow
From the next morrow
Bud and blossom
Like a beautiful flower
Each day a way
Of living it
they spread rumors
behind my back
viscous attacks
cant cut me slack
im just a snack
for the moment
waiting for it
to be done
would rather be numb
then feel this dumb
Form:
Letting the sweet little baby sleep until the sunrise.
Patiently waiting for the moment I see her bright eyes.
Peacefully the sweet baby deeply sleeps and dreams throughout the night.
my heart waits for the moment to be the wind in your heart and live,
it has started a journey leaving the prison body,
forgetting the length of destiny, lost the way, tired, lost and fell
The steps stop but the love moves.
Do not think when life has come and when did it go.
Just wait for the moment for
which love countinues to grow in the heart.
The steps stop but love moves.
snow falls flakes
cling to trees
barking dogs grow
silent for the moment
corroding wire fences
brown dying grass
a spider scales
the white cracking ceiling
the highway
echoes
Try to Live for the Moment
Why relive the past?
Why worry about the future?
Each new day has its own promise
Why get bogged down in what can’t be changed?
I just try to live for the moment.
.
Trickling down mine back the heavy dew from the sequoia
for the moment though because I have plans to move far to the left
so I may feel the trickling on the front of mine hot flesh
My feet pounding
Against the pavement.
The sound echoing through
My vacant mind.
Frustration and
Anger forced into
Each step,
Each attempt to
Escape.
Running away
From the pain,
The grief,
Life.
Each day we rise not knowing what's in store
Will the world be a better place or just like before
Not likely to change
Leaders are deranged
So live for the moment and hope for a good score
Spin Doctor
A crusty old spinster sat stitching
while scratching the parts that were itching
oohing and ahhing
picking and pawing
at least for the moment stopped bitching.

Getting Nowhere Fast
If you stop running
from what is not chasing you
then you might
catch up to
what you are chasing
but really
we should live
for the moment
the now
and for the purpose
of what we were
created for.
I lay to sleep
I dream of you
Then I wake up
But there's nothing I can do
I know it's unreal
I know you're not there
I try to remember
The moments we shared
Even though you're gone away
In my heart is where you'll stay
Even the Weakest ray of sunshine
Is begging to be shown
Known
Refusing to hide
Just wants to shine
Remaining patient
Gleaming, parting the clouds
Illuminance
Waiting for the moment
To be Perfect, as it will be
When it is time
As the countdown to
New Year's begin
New resolutions and promises
Begin to unfold, when people
Starts out keeping their word
And gradually stop
Most of the resolutions are
Made because of alcohol and
Living for the moment
The older I get, the tenser I become,
I've seen this drastic change in people who worry...
should I be like them thinking negatively?
No, I'm living for the moment without guilt:
by enjoying today and expecting to rise tomorrow.
Focus, concentrate black out the world
Clear my mind of all stress and
Splash, weightless, floating,
Calm, alone quiet for the moment
Turquoise color, trickle through me
Caressingly, holding me.
For the Perfect Job contest
I close my eyes
I see your face
In my mind
I start to trace
Your every feature
That I lobe so much
I live for the moment
Until we touch
Feel your beautiful body
Pull it close to mine
And share this love
That’s one of a kind

I'm just waiting for the moment
That you will come my way
And saving up my love for you
Each and every day
Knowing that it'll take some time
But I hope you'll wait for me
'Cause now you've just turned sixty
And I am only three
