Friend Or Foe

bird in hand
                                                         friend or foe ?
                                                          you decide ?

Foe

You pushed me down
you pulled my feet
you broke my crown
you made me bleed
you were my foe
and I didn't see
that you were right there
living with me.

How do we ever know
If those we love
Are really friend or foe?

And if there is real love involved
Despite all we don’t know
Does it even matter at all?

Neither Friend Nor Foe

There’s a haven beyond
all praise and blame,
where true writing can repose

All time on the run,
consensus lay shunned
—the truth neither friend nor foe

Love Thy Foe

Were I to half the list of my foes
Completely, I'd eliminate my woes-

Go out not, therefore, for fiends
Instead, go ye out to make friends;

It is he who plots another to kill
Who, daily, takes a sick man's pill!

Friend Or Foe

FRIEND OR FOE
Do you have any friend or foe
We should be loving everybody since long long time ago
You have to reach the high before hitting the low
This is something that I need to know

Dark Finds Itself As a Foe

Dark finds way to touch the light
                                             Can it really do so?

                                     When light shows its image
Dark finds itself as a foe

Friend Or Foe?

Friend
or Foe?
I shout out
as to my door
you come Knock; Knocking.
Friend or Foe I must know.
You squeal with Glee; "Friend I be!"
A Knock; Knocking here at your door.
Friend or Foe I call as you ask to
come Inside. Are you friend, or Are you Foe?

Tragedy, Foe and Friend

-tragedy foe and friend-

when tragedy strikes, unexpectedly, head on
                      opportunities are made
for the wicked to awake their demons to strike, head on
                      at their hardest target.
a lot is lost than gained

A Day Worth Looking Back

Looking back on my graduation day
I got goosebumps
I got nostalgic
I got blissful tears
I got jokes to share
I got stories untold
I would wish a million times,
Only if cloak could turn back the time
I would tell my
Friends and foe
Teachers and Principal
I missed them all.

When Night Had Veiled My Foe

Like a great parodied indolent
Such illusions of meaningless digressions
Compliant with a game of chance
Purred for the sun to pass
And built a twilight barricade
Till hunger drew slack
Then like a flack of mottled light
Round beneath it
Time in hours
It moved the world..

Premium Member Farewell False Foe

You pompous poison

Maze of monotonous mistrust

Frail heart full of treason

Delirious repentance

Blasphemous bait betrayed

Regret grown grief

Fire flaming fantasy filled

A fate framed future foretold

Love can now rest knowing

Your destined diabolical death

Farewell false foe

Friend/Foe

The friendliest foes are ones who know
the best and the worst of me
A hug for the Love, a brew for a thug
A slug that was destine to be
So years go by with smiles and cries
Lies for a friend like this
I stuck that knife right in his back
He laughed as WE died closed fist...

My True Foe

Not to much longer now. I can now hear his screams of anger. Each day he grows in strength, each day another chain or lock is broken. My one and only foe will soon be free and my last battle will begin. I can't say who will win because we are one and the same my foe and I. Any day now it will begin

Fickle Foe

Setting here listening
To the sounds of the
Music that flows from
My computer
Contemplating the
Strangeness of human
Relationships
How one day it all can
All but disappear almost
With out a single trace of
Ever existing
How the heart can love one
Day and hate the next
Human emotions are a very
Fickle foe

I Smell The Danger
Of An Ant Invasion!

Just: Give 'Em A Little Slack...

And They're Everywhere,
Gettin' Into Everything,
Leaving A Spore...

Ick. IT IS SAD!

Just: Head Back Down
That Beanstalk And
Leave The Geese Alone.

Or Not, Right?

Now I've Gotta Wipe
You All Up...

Time, friend or foe
           I really don’t know
Both, I suspect
          As I recollect
Friend in a way
           I’d have to say
For I’ve known love
          That I can speak of
And I’ve been blessed
          I might suggest
But foe, I report
          For time runs short
And must make haste
          No time to waste

Premium Member Be Gone Defeated Foe

I've read the book and it is so
That death is a defeated foe.

He lurks within the shadowland
Light being what he can not stand.

In the kingdom, where there's no night,
Death can't exist; for all is light.

Light your houses brightly and everywhere you go
Tell the vagrant, death, out loud " be gone defeated foe."

The Foe

Lily livered lint of a lizard, let him be called
In pious protest of his primevel name
He who in the spinning sun our death installed
Made history mere cinder for the flame
Why mark me with mortality for your material rage
What treasure in life's flesh yet I cage
He slithers between lines scrawled on a creeping page
And leaf by leaf levers love with lurid rage.
Form: Verse

My Strongest Foe

Trying to be numb
need to add more cold
With every day that passes
the darkness grows more bold
Memories of the good times
my heart no longer holds
My will to fight is almost gone
the fire has burned low
One to many battles
with nothing left to show
The demon hiding deep inside
is my strongest foe
A war against my self I wage
with heart and mind and soul.

Friend Or Foe

Rain
                                         falls softly
                            Refreshing, watering, reviving.
                          Ponds, streams, rivers, reservoirs
                              Flooding, raging, destroying
                                  Demolishing buildings
                                          Monsoon
