Firefly- a weird insect,
fantastic flirtations,
floating glow to enchant,
fervent garden visits,
festive entertainment,
fiery vivid spirit,
flickering like candle.

No Quarter Given

How safe you choose to lose your life;
I knocked, but you ran from passion’s wife
head long into ego flirtations
that warm your mental bed,
but never thaw your whiskey-less soul.
Nothing burns you alive.

She flirted with me,
 this lady so fair
 She left with a smile,
 Seductive her stare

 I saw her one day
 So golden her hair
 I walked towards her -
 Her husband was there

End In Sight

The voyage will be
docking at dawn tomorrow.
There is a party tonight
but it will be
a sentimental kind of
celebration of the new world
to be replaced by the old.
Goodbye new fantasy hopes,
eye flashes and flirtations,
moments of youth-like heartbreak.
I've already partially packed.
Tonight will be a
muted abbreviation of yesterday.

Premium Member To Travel the World

O, to travel the world when young
Tales of adventure to be sung
Cups raised with high expectations
  of romance and steamy flirtations

Travel to Africa while you can
  to Indonesia and then Vietnam
Cross oceans by ship and by plane
  Narrow mountain passes by train...

There's a time to settle down
But that time is not now
You owe yourself your fair share
  of 'Awesomes' and 'Wows'

Barmaid

She threads through a crush of guffawing shoulders
swoops on empties.
We sense the alluring fiction of a nylon friction,
a diction of sexual parlance dipped in moist labor.
We breathe in the unsanitary flirtations of passing thighs,
ponder the lips-speak of cherry red suggestiveness.
Winks and smiles - eyes watch her sashay away
carrying a silver tray
with the crumpled green tokens of a trivial love.

Oh Zephyrus, sweet Zephyrus,
westerlies' bouquet nectarous
lilac layered flirtations sail
wings whimsical whiff my skin pale
butterfly kisses generous..

music you breathe melodious
chorus of wind-chimes feverous
sounds, symphonic in gentle flail,
oh Zephyrus..

hands breezy - touch me delicious
flowers long-stemmed dance capricious
exhales enchanting do prevail
sighs satisfying without fail
licks sweeping softly amorous,
oh Zephyrus.

Love Unwanted

You came from nowhere;
Knocking me from my feet.
Disturbing my thoughts,
Leaving me in a broken pile.

Thinking it only a meeting of chance;
Blindly ignoring your flirtations,
I hoped you were gone.

But you returned;
Making me your puppet,
Lips bloodied and tongue ravaged
from your kiss of vengeance.

I've tried to leave
Many,many times.
But still you linger.

And I lose my mind
in small pieces,
Hoping only to forget my life
before you loved me.
