Calendar

In it, the calendar, every day,
           tragedy, celebration, gains, losses...
it's fête, fiesta, always party ...

Reason

Number 13

REASON

Reason wears a stern face
Where no jester can poke
Fiesta and wit find grace
The crime is in the joke

Mexican Jumping Beans

A lively young man from sunny Mexico,
With a giant sombrero was on the go,
Celebrating every kind of fiesta,
Wouldn't sleep when time for siesta,
Must be jumping beans making him flow.

Party Fiesta False

Crazy balloons for flying,
flowers eager to breathe,
tables tired from so much weight...
Cups wanting to rest
on the shelves,
voices complaining strangely,
night wanting to dawn already...
This is party, fiesta!

Ending His Quest

Don Quixote
De La Mancha
ending his quest
for the Code of Chivalry
must not die a silent death
along the golden road of Spain
witnessing a fiesta red Sunset
while the Mariachi windmills and
blue dragons sing and chant

Tall Ships

A magnificent sight, tall ships with billowing sails Such an eloquent vision, the artistry never fails An image from a long-ago era A historic image, reason for a fiesta Of all the beautiful images we observe, tall ships we hail

Happy Life

Fiesta
Sounds of happiness
Colorful
Exciting
Lots of games, prizes and fun
A child’s dream come true

Ferris wheels
Swaying in the breeze
Coaster rides
Up and down
A maze of diversity
Carnival of life

Prom

Stuck between two girls on prom night
sometimes I just feel like I'm a shining knight
in the darkness there's no sight
between what is wrong and what is right.

I shall choose the one I love
the one who flies like a dove
in my heart and in my own little cove
stood I in the empty fiesta grove.

Ishthar

Ishthar,the mother of all goddess:

Eating pigs,hallowing incense.

Thy fruit has extended to easter,

Draging many souls to destruction's fiesta.

You've taken what you can't return:

Even precious souls have you, turn after turn:

But you shall forever in the lake of fire boil.

Christmas In Africa

Parades on the street
African hearts that tweet
Carols in the street
Feasts of continent meet

Christmas time of gifts
Songs and dance so sweet
Praises to God that lifts
Christmas joys in feet

Houses without Santa that pray
Children of fiesta that play
Young and old so gay
In God's name with peace they all stay!

Espresso

Blurry feeling
Sleepy eyes here
Teary blinking
Drowsy touch steers

Ritual being
Dawn flings messy
Cause becoming
Awkward crazy

Footsteps shaky
Sleepy touch grinds
Stupor queries
Espresso finds

Brown black siesta
Drowsy eyes gaze
A wild fiesta
For cuppa craze

The Night at the Barrio Fiesta

Do you remember
when we left the baraylehan
early
at midnight
.

It was my alibi,
I really meant to
walk with you
I smiled when you held
my hand.

The nipa leaves
let go of the moon
as the music at the dance
went silent,
I kissed you.

The road was cold
the grass beside it moist
my heart was singing
and dancing
It stopped.

Odd Verses

Noon siesta
Windy squeeze
Dream fiesta
Sensuous breeze

Fancy lights
Certain feel
Music flights
Lovely zeal

Zest consorts
Impulse swings
Quest retorts
Savvy things

Random needs
Forge fancy
Fertile seeds
Spice sexy

Deep purses
Affluent kind
Odd verses
Poignant finds

Mexico Lindo

Listen to poem:
Mi Mexico lindo:

Burnt orange and ochre --
color de cafe --
pineapple, lime, red pajaritos...
land of mananas, grace in mantillas...
balanced canastas, ojos expresivos.
Sunshine and heat, fiesta y corrida,
salt and tortilla, pride and tequila.
Frijol and machismo and chile con queso.
Adobe, caliche, sweet agua fria...
Mexico, te amo mucho, y su gente amable!

Dust Will Laugh

Romancing Neptune
had an
amorous wish.
The body is water.
Take it,
split it,
and then become a doormat.

Blocking the fiesta,
a ghost brings in
storm, in a glass.
Will you drink the moon
in night ?

The street now walks in,
taking a call to kill the shades,
of wrinkles. You forgot
your name and move
gingerly from post to post
lightening the lamps.

Trying to Sneak Away for a Bit of Fun

Loud crazy-sounding hullabaloo in the center of town
Carnival? Fiesta? Mobsters? Balloon-shaping clown?
We could not wait for our parents to slumber
Creeped out of our windows, hid behind piles of lumber

Ran down there to see whatever mischief we could
The square was empty except for a lone pile of pine wood
Our parents’ cameras had shown them what we had done
They were soon there also, spoiling our fun

I Wish Expose All Beauty Existent In the World

I don't ratify this fake party,
I intend to rid it of failure
to the glory...
I don't approve immobility
of our friendly relationships...
I wish warm beds,
and fire in love...
I don't appreciate life
painted in pictures on the walls,
Desire to paint the story of life...
It's not enough for me to contemplate
beauty sparse...nature dead !
I wish to expose the total beauty
which exists in everything... !

Beauty

Wise words work wit
Bless bit by bit

Beauty blooms best
Fiesta feeds fest

Jazz juicy jest
Query ***** quest

Make moments move
Glimpse glowing grooves

Splurge sensuous sighs
Heap happy highs

Welcome work well
Sign savvy spell

Plant precious poise
Craft charming choice

Wander which way
Prize puzzles play

Work wonder wise
Set simple spice

High Fidelity?

My Ex came up to fetch me
And drive me to the shop,
In his Ford Fiesta wreck,
Just ready for the chop.

He said, “I’ve got my stereo
Just fitted – Panasonic …
It’s great, it’s got four speakers!”
I said, “Oh! Quadraphonic!”

He looked a little puzzled …
“Oh! No!” he answered back,
“It’s got two speakers at the front,
And two more at the back … !”

This is a true story –
With my Ex, I don’t need to make ‘em up!

Brief Moments

Drooping autumnal siesta,
Chilly winds in dreamy fiesta;
Hear the windy purr sing-song,
Echoes that linger not long.

Jot how time floods a strange feel,
Watch the cold air breathing chill;
Join the chorus that now scopes,
Wish upon a wishful hope.

Brief moments that juggle tease,
Look upon that vital ease;
Sleepy days of lazy dreams,
Mull with drafts of lines that stream.

Spring to Fall

Spring
Bouquet
Bulbs appear
Flower petals
Rejoice and open
Spreading joyful color
As trees awaken with buds
Attracting bees and butterflies
Songbirds have returned to feed and nest
Nature explodes as springtime has arrived
Nature’s fiesta has come to an end
Days are shorter as darkness commends
Songbirds are migrating in flocks
Vibrant leaves swirl in the wind
Branches become barren
Trees become sleepy
Hibernation
Hiatus
Restful
Fall

Madonna

Rejoice
With joy
The melody
Dwelling in love
The resonance is your
Madonna De fiesta
The heaven's song
Your love
As rising of sun
In dawn
Awaking sleepy
The heart of me
You rouse the passion
In courtship romance
like moon of night
On surface of water
Quietly divinely in dance
With light
And lips of honey
Bestowing their kiss
With dew
The magic of samba DE Rowda
Madonna
In love
The passion is your
Madonna your love
Is bounty
Of ancient
And aura
Of modern time

Fighting Sleep

I fight sleep like Muhammad Ali
As melodic moon gently glows
Rather dance than chance sleepwalking
Music on the radio inspires tapping toes

Somehow my muse has been set loose
Not sure how long she will purple parade
She’ll always inspire my writing blue truths
Despite sleepless night or fiesta less day

I hear the whiz of emerald electricity
It’s so quiet I’d hear ants tap dancing
I’m sure I even hear your denim dreams
Tell me when you wake from sleeping
