Form: Haikustic
Father's Day comes but twice a year,
Or close to that amount.
Give him a can or two of beer
Or perhaps a higher count.
We were born on the downside of everything
Opened our bright eyes to ruin and rot
Fresh coal to stoke the coming hellfire
The absolute love he has for her
No words could ever convey
Its the look in his eyes
Of the purest love that portrays
I thank my father
for his service in the Corp and
respect him fully
he sacrificed
coming home no warm welcome
Vietnam Marine
My dad always carried a flask
But he never once wore a mask
If he were alive
I know he'd contrive
A way to walk off with a cask!

Happy Father's Day to our Lord and all the fathers
they plunder and loot
the fruits of the founding fathers of this nation
they think what we know
is just what they they choose to tell us.

I join all father’s on this and every Father’s day
hoping that we….
will always try to be
as extraordinary
as our children imagine us to be.
Pillar of the home, backbone and strength
Astride, sitting on mama's needs
Providing, caring for the kids
Always working, caring less for rest.
your wear
you look like a bear
you walk and talk
shop and hop
kiss hhug in aparking lot
and have acuor soup bold
THATS
I LOVE THE COLD
Despondent
Torn apart
By chaos
Mothers cry
Fathers sigh
Children lost
Twilight blues
Morning mourn
War and strife
July 29, 2025.
If someone are talking about
your mom,
sharing memories
who wouldn't cry?
If someone are talking about
your dad,
sharing works
Who looking up?
My dad was renown as a cad
Which made my love life rather sad
Would I know when I kissed her
That she was my sister?
If not, he would be a grand dad!
It was Father's Day Sunday ~
We knew it might be his last.
Still the phone never rang.
Did our best to hide the hurt.

What’s life’s punishment most severe
That oft fills these old eyes with tear?
While fathers wonder
At rest six feet under
Their children’s future is not clear
Slow down and remain
eight years old and all squirmy
footie pajamas and dolls
glitter on tables
tea parties and teddy bears
and you weren't always busy.
Anger to me is
Wet and red
And sucks like quicksand
And war is black and loud
With fathers’ screams
Mother’s fists
And children’s silence
I fear both
you see there faces
of the same race
he walks with pride
being real is his guild
as the walk talk
side by side
my recpect he has won
its FATHER
AND SONS
Every day is Mother's Day
They are so special, in every way
Dads, of course, need Father's Day
O! Before I forget --
Here, Honey. Here's my pay
father father
hold me up high
over your head
farther and father
and spin me
around and around
until
I become you
and you become you
in my fond memories
