When our hands get mucky and covered in dirt
We turn on a tap and give the soap pump a squirt
So be sure to wash your hands thoroughly

ramrod straight
meticulously dressed
Shoes laced tight
polished to a ‘t’
Vest, exquisite timepiece
Punctual meant
ten minutes early
Sipped tea, no coffee
Poker face, played whist
dined fastidiously
Folded the ‘financials’ just so
No hint of a lady or passion
when he vanished
His timepiece was found, stopped
This doth my heart know for sure
That i shall awaken tomorrow
Loving you 1 day more
And liken your beautiful
flawless face
To droplets of dew clinging
fastidiously onto a rose petal
But with far more grace
and elegance
Than anything even nature itself
