There's plenty of goodness out there
but it's been fanged by the puff adder DJS
now goodness is slowly dying on media vines
behind boarded up windows and riot fire
with pistols and rosaries at the ready
awaiting the fires of salvation...

Premium Member Cursed
Pricked with a fanged bite;
No longer a need to fight
everything toxic about daylight;
His kiss tasted eternal;

Death dripping in the eyes of a vampire,
as intoxicating as a scorching fire;
Never a past to transpire,
endless curse, the thirst for blood....

Cold Sky
winter wolves have eaten the tulips
the wind has pawed and pillaged
small dogs strain on their leashes
a summer storm has ice in its veins
warner airs arrived too late
to save the groundhogs litter
bitter are the fruits
                  of this fanged season...

Whitest
A full one tonight,
a quarter-size of this world,
her white is complete,
inviting me to stare.

No clouds there
to hide her.
Will she bring out
the wolf in me?

Such a canine might,
emerge and amaze, without warning:
dreaded, ferocious, fanged.
Or should I simply smile and gaze?

Imp Lore

Shadows play upon my skin,
ebbing, waning, flowing
from their gain,
their touch leaves a shiver
from the fanged release of sin,
a shudder down my spine,
a reminder of the unknown,
thoughts; did I let them in?

So do I welcome the shadows,
as they linger and fade,
leave a residue calling
card for their Empress shade.

Colours of Love
Crimson of the dawn-dipped sun,
Melting blue of the heavenly sky,
Blushed pink of a new bride,
Pure saffron of a meditating monk,
Sublime purple of the fallen royalty,
White innocence of a baby's laughter,
A tinge of green from budding leaves.
Beloved!
Smear me with your many splendoured love.
Jealous Time can wait
And its seven fanged ferocity....

Gloom In Bloom
Yellow petals shroud the glens in buttery bloom,

                                 concealing from the sun a shadowed gloom;

                                                             hapless furs,

                                                             get the curse;

beneath the bush feasts the fanged coil of doom!...

Origami tigress...
orange sun ribbons painting
gently rising ribs,
you sleep... a smiling cherub
in the green silky nape of noon

Under a lavender moon
unfolding- arising
sashaying my cobblestone dreams
of a million carnal pinwheels.
A playful smack to the flank
brings me to your sweetened stream
a black fanged bite to the soul
and I'm forever yours...

Is- a Terran Serpent
The fanged serpents are uncoiled
And they have encircled the landmass
From the Mediterranean to Euphratis and Tigris
And Paris
They hiss, they hiss.

IS is a snake
With claims fake
Eclipsing Bagdad and neighbourhood
With a huge hood.

ISIS is no Nile-flooding Isis
With any Osiris!
ISIS is an acronymic onomatopoeia
Uncoiled now and coiled then
With a long dia.
ISIS is hiss, hiss is IS
ISIS, ISIS....

The ivy plant, green and bold hugging the
Iron gate

             Guards the dwellers within
Unaware tho they might be

The midnight visitor, well acquainted with
Ivy

Deposits fresh fertilizer as the luxurious
Leaves, intricately intertwined

Provide purposeful seclusion for Ivy's friend
Unseen by the horrific, harassing

Talon-fanged

Great Horned Owl

A good and faithful friend, Ivy

Premium Member Limestone Heart
limestone hearted eaten away
by God's eternal, feral rain

stalagmite preachers in full royal bloom
igniting fanged candles to temper gloom

memories choked with thorny throated weeds
half-hearted souls, blue marbled eulogies...

truly, time chisels flesh into stone
fluted memories are forged from bone

snake congregation bearing footfall refrain
limestone hearted forever.. a mad harlot to the rain...

Viper of Intemperance
With a simultaneous gasp for air,
a trembling hand lifts the bottle.

Throat-burning venom snakes
its way across the tongue as
hot liquid arrows slither
toward their target;
a petrified pit waiting
to receive the coveted sting.

White-fanged memories
lie coiled, and ready to strike
until doused repeatedly
with liberal doses
of fiery forgetfulness.

You rattle around
in my consciousness.
Whiskey takes you
out of my mind....

Premium Member Wilding Fawn
I saw the raven night withdrawn
as scarlet of a peacock dawn
arose atop the crested east
and as the bleeding scape increased
one feral star I wished upon.

I prayed for summer fire to yawn
across my salamander lawn--
lay low the winter's ice-fanged beast.

But even now gold hours are gone,
September's afternoons are drawn
away to Autumn's umber feast,
its shadows porcupine released
as further strays the wilding fawn.

These Stones
For every stone I lay I bleed
Bone batterers the pile at my feet
Are foundations so I succeed
Making my triumph out of defeat
Brick by battering brick I laid
Each flesh fanged stone rising up
Against being sore and afraid
Grimacing but gulping from the cup
Of spite, of jealousy, of hate
Offered me; their secret hemlock
By which I am galled by fate
Poisoned since the auction block
With al my feathers littered there
These stones are my babel of despair....

Hot Creation Monolith Gleams
martial aliens burning hot creation monolith gleams
machines rip your throat songs of another year
the piano will never play again dust is your answer
watch the movie time spins black and white Newtonian
laws apples serpent and the feathered nightmare spreads
red rivers write animals of night glowing spells of Indian incense
eclipse the rage of oceans planes fanged their way through fortune
the voices ride the elevator to the top floor silence feeding piercing worms...
