False Promise

The end of all is vanity,
damnation so accused
The mirror speaking falsely
—of promise purple hued

(Dreamsleep: June, 2022)
Form: Rhyme

Leave Me Be... Let Me Be

Leave me be,
You have no dominion
Over me.
Stop trying to control me
And mold me falsely
Let me be ,
What God made me
To be.

The Falsity of Time

A prisoner of the truth
  sole inmate of denial

Serving time falsely promised
  —paroled in cold exile

(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2014)
Form: Rhyme

Backhanded

“All you can be is all you can be,”
damning with faint praise

A lover, not a girl to wed
—left hand falsely raised

(Dreamsleep: March, 2020)

falsely fascinated by five fools following fleetingly frantic
flipflops fervently and furiously.

Premium Member Fake Smile

Get to be living in distraction and some denial,
As she will soon ascend to Heaven in a little while.
Living life behind this biggest lie of a falsely happy smile.

Premium Member Angry Slaves

None are more enslaved hopelessly,
than those who falsely believe that they are free,
and none get angrier than any by far,
than those you attempt to enlighten how unfree they are.

Premium Member A Costly Mistake

Single mistakes can be costly,
Surely a statement made falsely
Will get you time in the slammer
And create lots of loud clamor,
So never enter a false plea.

A Message To Black Men

When I was upon the Earth
They falsely accused me
I was unlawfully put in jail
Beaten with a whip
And Hung upon a tree

Be strong and I will give you fruit
from the Tree of Life

False Conception

a personalized interpretation
an unrealistic mental conception brought about by
a falsely conceived notion created by a
clouded reality brought about through years
of misunderstandings

Legacy's Tale

Will you be the hero
within your own story

Will you marry the present,
dating the future and past

Will your legacy document
your truest intention

Or falsely imply
words abandoned—unheard

(H.U.P. May, 2020)

Torment

today we hide, tomorrow seek
ordeals unending, soundlessly
reaching toward the helpless meek
mindless strength is given falsely
end it all, but never does it
never are we given our life
to delay it is our source of strife

The Mirror Never Lies

Science would like
  to abscond with Philosophy

Claiming propriety
  over truth falsely shown

Measures and numbers
  its weapons of choice

Never looking beyond
  —what its theories bestow

(Wayne Pennsylvania: May, 2019)
Form: Rhyme

Falsely Alarmed

A simpleton mewls.
Streams of martyrdom
sate white porcelain.
Sins and suffering
hover like pumice.

Pruned fingertips
scratch metallic
drain passages
seeking escape.

Dread subsides
as bubbles
vanish and

whimpers
simply

laugh.

It All Adds Up

One falsely accusing grandmother,
One misunderstanding brother.
One tear upon the cheek,
One heart that is very weak.
One life that was sad from the start,
One pair of lovers torn apart.
One very chastising world,
And one very sad, lonely girl.
Form: Narrative

Destiny

DESTINY
In the name of the truth they are lying badly
In the name of freedom they imprison people falsely
Are you understanding the meaning of infinity
Or do you just calmly use the name of destiny

Falsely True

An ice-cream cone, a cupcake and some fries
A homely wife, a buxom blonde on the side
Let me state fairly, albeit, not without pride,
Some fact, some fantasy and a fistful of lies!

Vows Broken Too Soon

What a horrible ruin
Vows falsely spoken
Love's most terrible tune
Heart and vows broken
Vows broken too soon
Joy has escaped, stolen
A night's dark-dull moon
Love's most bitter token
Sad day, sad afternoon
Tears and blood betoken
Love, a scary baboon.

Torches Rage

The past is but a distant flame,
with reasons there disowned

Where fire burns in effigy,
to singe that falsely known

The ages but a candle dim,
its wick burned to the quick

As torches rage from deep within
—all time a kindling stick

Premium Member Slipped Away

slipped away

metallic taste of blood
lingers on my tongue
grieving wine of life

sweet life
flavoured salt and iron
greets a morning
mourning her loss

anger burns as fire
denial laughs falsely
the clock’s alarms today
yesterday she was here
holding my hand smiling.

Ill-Gotten Gains

Ill -gotten Gains
False premise
Path falsely taken
Road stolen by feet
Not meant to roam
The road ahead
Came to bit in the ass
Plans obtained by false
Appearances of many years
Of falsehoods portrayed
An I'll fated attempt at
Trying to impress another
Who never truly gave a ****

False Insanity

No need to hurry;
No need to hustle;
The waves do carry
Our each sandcastle.

Life contains a measured beat;
We need to accept all;
Freedom has a deep seat,
As we're given the call.

All things seem pointless;
What is the truth then?
Of all things regardless,
We falsely become insane.

Premium Member To My Future Love

To my future love,
one word is all I need
too many are spoken falsely
 too many so sudden
then fizzle to an end
Pity me
from one to another
I shall only give
when a man gives in return
But alas
the sky is luckier
then I
when the dark
finds his beautiful sphere of love
His Wife
