Shorn of flight

White horses unsure of flight
they unfurl before dawn
they had their chance
alone in colours
The man of gentle voice
was only asking for a choice
They sang of emptiness
epoch making expanses
of self determinism
their forte

Inhaling the Sea

I sink into the ocean
Water so intrepid
The salt that carves,
Canals in my skin, and stains my lungs

Yet I am not overpowered
Gliding down through azure expanses
The melodious harp, I hear
From a foreign dimension

As I rest in bliss

Desert Song

Nestled in Nature,
and rattled by brush.
Surly looming Shadows
Adorned in Fire
Crested by the Sky.

Scarred by thick Dirt
and Wilting Plants.
Wandering Cries,
Stifling Heat.

Desolate
Expanses
Perservere.

Drifting;
Lost Souls

Trek

Butterfly

Wings I fly, from expanses high
Fragile oars of bright hue
Gaiety of movement and subtle play
In pursuit of nectar and pollen
Fly I fly with gay abandon
Fly I fly in the oceans high
Time is short, life is free
Poetic beauty, let me be
(to be continued)

This World of Distance

This world is full of distance,
Full of ever-shifting minutes,
Hours, days, are lost to silence,
My own town is old and faceless.
How to live, with such expanses?
I’ll save your laugh, preserve your essence,
Bridge the gap and share your presence.

This heart must live on patience.

Premium Member We Leave Em Here

Listen to poem:
These vast expanses and love for luxuries,
The dint and dainties ever luring,
The beams that bend our narrow necks,
The cares compelling all to the gate,
Our wars and wearying ways for filths
The ego fanning fist for fights,
And these for vain we vaunt and vent.
We wane in time, and leave em’ here.

Just An Abyss

Exponential expanses,
sickening depths-
on the ocean waves-
you say to see.

Glories and beauties,
immaculate sets-
rises also-
on the ocean waves.

Steadfast blue,
crashes of white,
ashore- not walls-
on the ocean waves.

Constant pounding,
endless scraping,
frivolity and pure wonder,
on the ocean waves.

Never a break.

Seasoned Beauty

Shades of fall, sounds of autumn
Jutting rocks witnesses of constant change
Beneath clouds of white amid expanses of
Blue reflected in rippling flows straining
Against earthen banks like traffic cops or
Standing navigators, deciding direction
Yet yielding to persistence as
Dirt joins water
Disrupting vision
Blurring the future

Mantra Ride

. for public domain

I become what I see,
a flame on a wick,
expanses of infinity,
whimpers of a baby's cry,
resounding drums of totality.

I am nothing, and I am all,
often lost in the dark between.
So come on mantra,
let's go on the ride!
Splash me on the surface!
Dive me deep inside!
From outward totality
to inward infinity;
REMIND ME OF WHAT I AM!

Diffident

Wide and open expanses,I see
Exciting,dejecting or appaling, maybe
The crossroads I find
Lead to more of their kind
The more I decide
The more it wont suffice

Some seem delusional
Some blatantly bemock
Some ghastly enticing
Some apparently nonchalant

I guise my irresolution
And procrastinate my take
I wander with my rudderless ship
With reassurance sham and fake.

Sting To Sing

Star dust;
red powder on your lips
in the creases lit
against the moon...

Shadows luminescent;
rose water breath
and a needle to sew
the Milky Way closed...

You step to edges of mountains
and check the pulse of black expanses
with star dust,
rose water,
ink eyes and padded fingers...

Red powder on your lips
and the wailing songs of eternity
running through your veins.

Between the Lines

The limits of the mind
My mind
Are ever reached daily.

Yet, the vast expanses
So far
Are begging to be grasped.

To have an understanding
Of what
I continue to search for.

My daily struggle to make sense
Doesn’t work
As life continues to swirl.

To reach out to help another
And halt
Because I need help myself.

Making it all understandable
Is work
But something that cannot end.

Aether

Forge my skies eternal
Beyond comprehension
The swirling horizon
And the endless expanses, that spark adventure
With ether like flowing water
Yet I will not suffer, numb to ailments

Atmosphere that reflects the lifeful beauty below
Yet possessing luxuries in it’s own right
Though not vain, for it is unenvious

Through the aether, I shall wander
Fading with bliss, as I walk to the stellas

Words of Love

You say the words of love not often pass
my lips but all the words I would amass
over my life can't possibly convey
your beauty. As before the love holds sway
over the words of tongue and pen. I try
to find a flawless language whereby
I could speak diamonds, moons, expanses, times
about your loveliness, to pick up rhymes
with your saliva's mead, to get a font
out from the depth of hell by which I want
so badly to write down those few
words of my love I'll never say to you.
