Reflection lights the day
Deception veils the way
Exception tempts astray
Perception bends the play
Reception fades to grey
Love is a martinet
A displinarian who has
Panel beaten the minds
Of the madman
I'm no exception for
My heart sings
LOVE
The pigeon music
A photocopier without toner
Sometimes becomes an office loaner
I was no exception
So I sold confections
Becoming invaluable to my owner.
Every scrooge, or grinch, or grouch
that I watch on TV from my couch,
the Christmas spirit, one day, redeems.
I'm the exception - so it seems.
uncommon is rare
common factor is of all
exception's rarest
I walk alone
because that is how we die
most are born alone too
I am an exception
I am an identical twin
there’s a bright crescent moon in heaven
drinking wine in my new stemless
less is more
more or less
the stem that is
swim in the stemless
with
wine turned to water
exception: celebration
After watching you I accept that now there are no expectations in my heart without any exception and I expect from you to accept me from your heart without any exception... :P?
Double Standards
Boy how the Lords
Of Old Money and Privilege
Take exception and retreat to the Higher Ground
When their means and tactics
Are used against them
Rosa Parks
Would have been a hundred
Were she alive today
Human beings of any colour
would gladly let her sit
Anywhere on the bus
With the possible exception
Of the driver's seat
It is the
Season with
The dark side
Gingerly addressed
In appearances
Of fright and comedy..
Trick or Treat!
It is a song of
Wholeness without
Exception..
as we aim to grow
lifing is not easy
theres no exception

Exception defines nothing
In wartime, is it not?
It is only the softer sound
Of a poem
The laughter of children...
Stories of old aged buddies...
A Deviating sound
From the norm.
Nobody's perfect but I must be the exception
This opinion of myself may be a misconception
Ya gotta dream
Keep paddling up stream
The final day ain't that far from inception
Nobody's perfect but I must be the exception
This opinion of myself may be a misconception
Ya gotta dream
Keep paddling up stream
The final day ain't that far from inception
Some people you meet leave an lasting impression
Some pass through without even a mention
The ones that stand out
Leave us no doubt
Friendships for life are without exception
With the task of introspection
Hopes of no deception
Of your own perception
You won the election
With no exception
Must be a tactician
Put it to action
Hopes of a good reaction
No retraction
Hypocrites

Haiku
The main “Jaw Jackers”
Want no wall and gun control.
They’re the exception.
Most have walls and armed security at their homes 24/7
This is delicious!
What is it?
Chocolate covered ants, she told me.
I have now taken my last bite.
I feel like I want to retch.
I have always loved Mexican foods.
This time is the exception.
So much sorrow and failure I see.
All are shipwrecked in life's angry sea.
Be it illness, divorce,
rack and ruin perforce.
The exception, of course... will be me.
Changing time develops changes in perception.
The flaw of once may today get an exception.
Manipulation takes away morals off-site.
But ethics keep us humans and hold us upright.
Place : 3rd
his fingers map out
subtle areas all over--
my belly button
no exception, impious
outlines, his goal to stir me…

No Exception to Deep Expression
We did determine poem was no exception;
Had much knowledge and deep expression;
Then translated,
By those educated;
Poets clearly will understand my perception.
Jim Horn
I know that every body will disappear, My Dear!
There will be no exception with yours and mine
If they indeed fail to always appear
Please still be very sure, my dear,
That our love will forever be there!
the rain will pour relentlessly
washing away the sins of day
waves roll down my street
echoing triumph of the new world
cold air and back-splash reaches me
reminders that i am not as exception to this washing
