Missionaries and Serial Killers

A missionary and a serial killer are not that way born.
Both evolved by the environment each experienced and individually came from.

Evolved Migration

Where as once we migrated following our food
in an attempt to save our endangered race,
we have now evolved to migrate successfully
into outer space.

Unencumbered

What we cannot let go, does not let us go, until, as forgiver, our forgiveness emotions have evolved entirely unencombered.

Who's Who

“who’s who”

a monkey was once caged in a zoo
of Darwin he read so he knew
with brazen balls
he simply evolved
now he’s out looking in just like you

Out Of Our Hands

A relative who used to be a good fit
Has evolved into something we must admit
Has a unique downside
Like a Jekyll and Hyde
Now if you give him a hand, it might get bit

We Evolved At a Furious Pace

We evolved at a furious pace. Oh, how noble we are as a race! But why are we here? The answer, I fear, is to always be stuffing our face.

Do People Still get Born with Tonsils

Do people still get born with tonsils
Or have we evolved past that stage?
Why were they there anyway?
Maybe for when we were mere-creatures
Mermaids and mermen
Swimming in Atlantis

Masquerade

A mask
Left without face
Guarded a man with scars
Kept him in lonely seclusion
The public made him a brutal nightmare
Took a matrimony with shadows
Evolved into a myth
Story of hate
A mask

Future

Far off in a distant time
Under an azure sky, so sublime,
There will be love and peace.
Unequalness will have ceased.
Righteous leaders lead united lands.
Earth evolved into God's plan.

Devolution

He'd grown up a pest and a brat
Evolved into an oily bureaucrat

While bribes greased his palms
Folks back home begged for alms...

Stripped of his bureau ~
All that was left was a rat

Fabric Moments

logic evolved
to become...

as mental sew-wings
such that thoughts...

threaded meant what
was seen...

in some 'now' scene
that be as of...

some picked-sures
pictured...

Imagining Cosmos Communication

in the cosmos, communication is constantly zipping and zinging
on fiber optic wavelengths only evolved aliens can decipher and see
imagine them as firefly rhinestones in lavender, coral and turquoise.

Language

Users of language evolved to converse. That way we learn who is good or perverse. We share information with social elation, just as I do with this ‘limericky' verse.

Today's Music

Today's music scene leaves me aghast My idea of music is indigenous with the past A different scene has evolved One of reality unsolved A dark foreboding vision of the future has been cast

An Idea Sprouts

An idea sprouts
  a heterodox notion
Sweeps 'cross my radar ~
  atavistic wave on the ocean...

Can there really be
  in this metaverse evolved
A concept so novel, so fresh
  it gets people involved...

Travel At Will

Jump thru time and space
Address must be known
Unknown you explode
Nomad was home
Tiger face of anger
Evolved from revenge

Rag Or Rise, Think Twice

We know about our ancestors
Playing monkey tricks are easy
Some may get fun out of those
But, we have evolved afar
Then, why should we go back to jungle?
Hey, Rising Sun! Enlight, the doomed souls

Untitled 1

The moon can withdraw; she will crawl
into her colourless body and stitch together her new skin;
she is reborn and basks in her costume of cadaver.
The heart is not that evolved; once broken, she is dead forever.

Purely Visual

in with
en plein air
a low cloud
fog shroud..
incandescent light
transparent
                 timeless
observed
evolved;
the art of light
in hazy tones
elusive
         phenomena
in paint
          unfold

Yet To Evolve

He tried to be good,
Equally to everyone.
“How foolish he is!”,
The comment came in return.
Has man evolved fully yet?
