Sometimes you meet special people ~ an encouragement to the wounded soul
18.04.2016
A-L Andresen :)
He said, “Hey Mom I wish I had a super power!”
His mom said…”But you do!
of all the people in this world
no one else…is you!”
She cried, "The whole world is against me!
The whole world hates me!"
I told her, "That isn't true.
Most don't even know you."
As we are here-nay, even dead,
all worthy shall be in our stead.
With all that we master, we guide others faster.
United, we travel ahead
It’s a form
somewhat tight
but good fun.
Raise a storm,
fly a kite,
try a pun!
Make it warm,
write it light,
and you’ve won!
I intend to keep myself happy
I inspire myself to be contended
I defeat my fear by surrender
I need to love to be alive
As long as we're here and not dead,
improvement will always be lead.
Whatever we master, we'll teach others faster.
Together, we travel ahead
I absorb sincere positive comments
Encouragement feels so good
My head must not explode

lack of approval
unreasonable demands—
our children matter
seeds of encouragement sprout
clean, prune, cultivate, nurture

Like a sunflower reaches for the sun
I reach for the light of a full moon
When no one watered me
I planted my feet in the grass
and prayed for rain
God is with you
Be at peace
Each morning
Is beautiful
Be a witness
Don't be afraid
Failure is part of the goals
Go ahead fearlessly
I am with you.
Crawling from the ground
Beautiful butterfly springs
Wings ablaze—fly, fly
“Life of experiences will give you a lesson of encouragement”.

It takes courage to
Overcome failure
Failure is like a
Kick in the gut
But you know that
If you don’t have
The courage to try again
You won’t ever win
In life
I went to church with a hurting heart this morning
and what I encountered was encouragement,
love, and a balm to my sagging spirit
I am thankful for the love I was shown
Let
your
talent
flow and grow
as
words
on an
arid world
An encouragement to all PS poets
inspired by your poetry this morning as I read and replied to my PS mail.
My disability might impede me, physically,
but my mind runs rampant,
even if my spine abandons me sometimes,
my spirit always flames bright.

a vagabond
I want to sleep, life in the cabana
But she wants to meet by the veranda
The meeting was set
Encouraged I get
Then I slip, from a rotten banana

Would you really want to hurt someone
Or would you rather be an encouragement
Remember what you speak it has power
Do you know the true power of criticism
Speak but use power of encouragement
Always spread good cheer
Be the inspiration
Use words of encouragement
Enlighten your vision
Uplift and empower
Strike with a tender force
Fulfill your obligation
Be that power source
Today I’m grateful for the moon
and for all the times
for encouragement and inspiration I have looked to you…
because
that’s what lovers
poets
artists
musicians
and all us dreamers do.
A bracelet, which once promised so much
Breaks, without force or encouragement
And falls to the wooden floor.
Never before have I felt so free.
And so, as links corrode as hearts do,
We break too.
Icky,
sneezy,
sleazy,
ugly
virus called Cold. Icky, sneezy luck.
Free me from this sleazy, ugly yuck!

encouragement to try new forms ..so blame her! :) 5/29/11
Thank you so much for the kindness
Thank you for being there for me
In my time of need thank you
For the encouragement to go and move
Forward thank you in my appreciations
From me to you thank you.
