Our Last Shared Moments

I.
you lead me gently,
my soul brushes against yours;
i’m taken over.

II.
i'm drifting closer.
please let me into your skin.
will you want my love?

III.
my gullible heart,
now emptier than before,
heavily guarded.

The Lion Sleeps

And it came to pass the Lion sleeps at last.
The heart sinks as the pain reacts so fast.
Our prestigious Camelot, where have they gone?
Without them, the World goes on.
So much emptier they say.
Hard to know a sadder day.

When I'M Without You

The bed feels lonelier when thee is not lying with me.
I lay here in agony, longing to hold thy body.

The room feels emptier when you're not home.
I pace around in here all alone, waiting for you.

The life I live feels sadder when I am without you,
I pray we'll be together for at least whatever seems to be forever.

My Eagle

My nest is emptier now by one.
Ripped a gaping hole where from the fledgling flown.
He felt the pull of open sky, brazen adventure beckoning
beyond the confines of safely folded feathers.
I trust his wings to carry him far.
I hope his courage will keep him aloft.
While my heavy hearts holds me earthbound;
I want him to soar.

Untitled- Written June 07, 2004

Waiting here patiently.
Riding out life.
Waiting with Nothing.
Constant Strife.
In between walls
that seem emptier than me-
Listening for what calls,
Whats screaming for me.
Craving what doesn't need me.
Tasting all thats tempting.
Feeling what can not be felt.
Need it to CONSUME ME.....

Grook

The conman posing as a wizard
told him to seek the answer from a frog,
of where he would get his treasure; in the fog,
"rrribit!" "rrrribit!" came the answer, from a pond,
leaving the victim fifty pence emptier

Tatters

Why
Did I
Get sucked in
Like a big fish
And play with the clowns
There went my rent money
I'm a laughing stock at cards
My life's a big circus as is
The only poker I know is fun
My
Oh my
See my face
After that loss
I'm at loss for words
My insides are empty
My wallet is emptier
My hair's on fire, I need help
Where is my cotton candy lady

The End

The End
there comes a point when you must move on.
the push You need comes from within, not from anyone else.
Better to start alone than carry the weight,
even if it cuts deep at first.
What You had slips away.
the happiness You once knew fades,
And nothing feels the same.
You’ll learn to fix it Yourself—
Quieter.
Emptier.
You don’t need others.

There will always be a End

Empty

You have begun staring emptier than me,
the spiritual distortion leaves me speechless.
Of all the parts you could've picked,
You chose the mole right above my upper lip.
As if you have the power to remove
birth marks with an empathetic laser surgery...
And sometimes the gaze flutters down and up,
instantly to my eyes when the realisation hits,
and the void loses its ingenuity to greed.

Unfurl Your Sails

Each fragile dandelion Orb of feathered, tiptoed seeds
Invite Curiosity's breath to loft your prosperous needs

Anchor away La Pinta, La Niña, cast off Santa Maria
Heave hoe your Astrolabe Star ward to map Nirvana

Sail well past your daunting precipice in daring abandon
The Perils of Earth's plate, let emptier thoughts imagine

Be bold. Lift in weightless step. Jump ship to board Apollo
Hitch a ride to wander in imagination the coming tomorrow

Empty

Nothing is what I feel
Empty was my world
I painted a picture, but it was blank
Blank imaginations, blank feelings
Dark and wild place I was in
No one, nothing nobody ever heard me
Skies were so near, could count the stars
The moon tried to smile but blood covered it
Anger creped in, frustrations and greed
Tried ease the pain but I eased my self
Empty and Emptier I felt
Bins couldn't be Emptier
Gongs couldn't cockles than I was
Evil brought the sunshine but felt NOTHING
