It’s Jack Frost . . .
The land around is snow embossed.
For warmth, spouses
Cling to each other in closed houses.
3rd place
Oak's lace brushes fall's sundown
embossed in moonlight rosette, her gown.

“I don’t splain myself,”
Bill Hickok said
before his Colts went off
A dead man lying
at his feet
—his legend time embossed
(Dreamsleep: January, 2022)
When I feel you
Emotion awakens the braille
Hidden within my body
Thoughts are embossed
Left behind are sounds of you
Like sheet music
That I never want to end
The color of rose
Flows through my heart's
Four love chambers
With red and blue.
This violet vase
Embossed in parts
Pumps in and out
For none but you.

A prank was pulled by Jack Frost
The whole countryside he embossed
He embroidered colorful fall leaves
From upon the ground, the farmer retrieves
Embossed in darkness;
Being the light caressing;
Dominance evasive light;
Parallel shades circumstance;
Gray universal plight awesome,
is God's radiant light;

My grandma gave me a rainbow pen
It had a hen embossed on the cap
One day it laid eggs
Grandma made fluffy omelettes.
I wrote my first poem:
Henpen omelettes
I get spank from Hens
Their tummy is empty.
O the childhood!
Not hexagonal and yellow
Like if i broke my arm off
A conglomeration of air bubble caverns
and in between small wooden doors
with the name bee embossed
above every tiny letter box
my ode to the crunchie
That i just finished off
mid darkness blackest
view embossed in brilliant depth
hued covenant light
~
caged environment
ruptures midnights fall surreal
dark bright light conceals

Hope Poked
Snowdrops of hope have poked through the frost
A sign which tells us all is not lost
White, green and sprightly
Spreading cheer brightly
With bells of glory Earth is embossed.
5th March 2021
In a world of white
A crimson rose bright
Looking lone and lost
Opens eyes embossed
Like a blooming light
With a touch of frost

sky wrapped in rhinestones
knitting hands through love’s compass
as one velvet star
pointing beam on embossed eyes
…he moans soft in light, my ” dawn!”

on redolence lane
tangled and wild roses teem
I'm going places
yellow birds fly through jade trees
cream and purple butterflies
joy down sunshine way
and hues are following me
waltzing in beauty
this portrait of summertime
so gold embossed on my mind
A lifetime crossed
A time remembered
At childhoods cost
A soul dismembered
And flesh embossed
As if surrendered
Away he’s tossed
As trash he’s rendered
Abased, his family lost
After, for cash he’s tendered
An autos fuel exhausts
Airfare paid, return to sender
Form:
Azalea plant, so baby new and blooming.
Bluebell flowers, quietly looming.
Carnations, the flowers of the dance.
Daffodils, in memory of the lost in the Holocaust.
Evening Primrose, so softly~~God embossed!

The natural& the normal,synthetic yet,small scale,regular and the
irregular, embossed.Illumed in the artificial light .Drawings and legible forms intrique and beguile creating mind-games in memory.
Characature & cartoon avant-garde of the geometric in three dimensional desire.
Asymptomatic love, a silent thief in the night
Unseen and unfelt, but oh, what a painful sight
But love, a stubborn force, will not be denied
And through the pain, it will always abide
In the end, successful, despite the bitter cost
Two hearts now one, forevermore embossed
A camping vacation the only kind
The trip with grandsons would be mighty fine
Standing in rush and Spanish Moss
Pictures to remember embossed
Scratching redbugs from hilt to my hairline
Inspired by Carolyn Devonshire's Vacation Contest
Not an entry
Experiences re-lived
culled from images I've seen,
books recalled,places I've seen;
Re-fashioned,enhanced and changed
emphasised and re-arranged,
evoked,re-styled in shaded tones,
uniquely embossed my own;
Written out for you to see
this poem trapped,within me..
Now,you dear reader..set free.
Time does not diminish our memories
They remain forever embossed in our heart
The years have quickly rambled on
Little ones have come and old ones gone
Special occasions come and go
Missing you as our families grow
May the Lord keep you in His care
Wishing you dad a heavenly birthday cheer.

Streams of color blend seamlessly in swirls of delight.
Heavily embossed across the faded sky, birds in flight.
Sunset’s glowing colour of crimson and gold,
As night’s velvety blanket begins to unfold.
Whispers of a breeze wafting gently, flickers a scent.
Evokes aromatic bursts, sensual yet earthy by intent.
The stanza was written in trailed off silver, circle over circle was wound to form silvery words, embossed around them though the palace sheltered paintings of razor-thin wings bespeckled with blood imprisoned sonnets that zip and fly with the hub, palatial and so endearing, the disembodied whispers are like paint peeling.
In autumn's brisk crimson
she weeps for summer.
September courts her
with scarlet and fire,
but xanthic plains
and sun's saffron blush
on cobalt lakes
stain her cheeks.
She'll sleep
in winter's bereft cloister,
the lambent trickle
of peach orchards
seeping into her dreams,
memories embossed
on a gold-stained pillow.
