dysfunctional
family
a bee in the car
rubble of social dysfunction
spilled from the lip of time
shards of humanity’s decay
sleep in layered mounds
beneath eternity’s cold moraine
using a
dysfunctional
malfunctioning
defective
approach
at compromise
is like trying to
fit a misshapen
puzzle piece into
the wrong place
within the bigger
picture
My attic family causes me pains,
their green and dysfunctional once again,
sinus traffic,
eviction status,
hopefully they'll move out by this weekend.

Dysfunctional is Destructive and Destructive is Dysfunctional. But, what else can one expect in a world where it may be alright to be different, but may not be alright to be too different!
the merely bourgeois, so-called collective Western world:
dysfunctional political economy, broken system w/ a
population neither able to solve the problem, nor willing to solve it.
I guess the definition of a lunatic is a man surrounded by them.
~ Ezra Pound
Phanopoeia can see
what Melopoeia hears,
but Logopoeia has no idea
What hell Hades has going on!
Heat Exchange
A family may be dysfunctional, when push comes to shove, they protect each other.

Divorce
Dysfunctional to stay
Damage to the children
Demonstrates bad marriage
Destroying their chances
Discovering real love
Don't stay for the children
Display two happy lives

I said A
You understood B
I said A
You thought maybe B
I said A
You said must be B
I looked in your eyes
You took my hand
I wondered why?
You said ‘cause I know
You can’t read my mind
You should read my heart.
They will always envy for what you have finally found.
They will always forget whether you've been around.
The one who ever truly has always loved you, is you.
Though the only truth I know, is you all had once loved me, too.
God banished from the Garden of Eden,
Adam and Eve after the fruit eating,
now we deal with thorns and thistles,
dysfunctional sin issues,
throughout our hectic life,
He is our peace pipe,
please don't delay,
come what may,
He says,
pray.

A Drug Addict
and an 11 year old
Welcome To My Family
1/2 the family is drunk from 9-12
one 1/4 is either out or passed out in his bed
and the other 1/4 has no idea what is going on and is just as passive as can be
As I said before

Form:
She is the child molester killer
Enters dysfunctional homes
Makes fast work of it
Takes her victims to her lair
To redeem and revitalize
They have been hurt too
Revamping the children’s memories
so they no longer relive or remember the abuse
Cleaning up the world one molester at a time
Mother did not bake apple pies,
but she drank strong cider,
which baked her brains.
Dad had a sharp tongue,
he picked his teeth
with its forked tip.
We were a one child family,
there was a miscarriage.
I recall we butchered the stork.
Mother roasted it,
for us all
that Christmas.
words lacking
compassion -
love -
kindness -
encouragement -
or
optimism
are
words only
silence
should suffer -
endure -
swallow -
dissolve -
or
sustain
for
such words
are dysfunctional
and
powerful enough
to
coat lives with false paint
Rising from the ashes after being burned
Scorched by magma induced words
Lit on fire by flammable hatred
Torment from envy causing hyperventilation
My love, how could you be so toxic?
Fumes from your violent attack spread throughout the air
Polluting complete strangers unaware of our dysfunctional relationship
DENIAL
The wind whipped the tree
Contained hive of bees
Resiliency unfolded
Inside hollow heart
Lessons learned an art
In the crushed heart, they're molded
Hunger and pain reigned
Relationships strained
A child had to take the lead
To meet their desires
While inside hope fires
Became successful indeed
over joyed by the
imminent alignments
of wondrous insights
completion of this enormous
cycle of transmuted energy
she is a conduit of love
incongruent feelings
harnessed affections
burning in orange flames
pre ordained divine consorts
dysfunctional blood lines
purging pure vesels
she is a conduit of love

My muse had a good idea,
Let's flood the world with Ikea!
Dysfunctional kits, there and here,
For guns and bombs,
No one would care,
They would be assembling Ikea,
Each kit, four missing bits,
Wrong pictures to give them the blip,
Globally occupied with dysfunctional Ikea,
Now isn't this a good idea,
Peace on Earth brought by Ikea?
All of our family roots can genetically
be traced back to just one woman who lived at the dawn of humanity.
All people of earth are descendants of she.
All in all, we're all just one big dysfunctional planetary family.
L I T E R A L L Y.
All of this has been scientifically proved.
We are all for the most part cousins, many generations removed.
school playground menaces
beastly children; rude bullies
teachers seldom see
disruptive home life
victims* hate coming to school
tattlers are punished
mimicking teachers
dysfunctional parenting
learned behavior
[*both the bullied and the one
doing the bullying are victims]

A dysfunctional child covered in mud
If her mamma didn't clean her do you think a stranger would?
dirty looks and filthy nails
gossips, rumours and funny tales
labels that stick and wont wash off
she is a tree with a damaged root
she grows no flowers
she grows no fruit
Broken trees can’t grow wings
This little girl resorted to other things

Here lie the Limericks of John Doe, duly interred
For the poet wrote "The dysfunctional $@& life.." and erred
Using innuendo
Totally intendo
Behold! Promptly the Admin's righteous wrath was incurred!
The Limericks I agree were crude
Not at all meant for the prude
The title had this warning
But by the very next morning
The Admin had them promptly removed!
We are the first dead in this house
Books in dysfunctional piles; debris,
Tins of old paint in the garage,
Airtight as the finish on bedroom doors.
A density of standing air,solemn
With the austerity of dried cornflowers.
Sour margarine on thin grey bread,
Old gruel of past weekdays, gone;
Children`s laughter in a bottle,
Too late, too cold, now not part of it.
