Premium Member Speech Trammeled

      marsupials are just mammals
         pity duplicity

       speech whenever trammeled
         surceases clarity

Costs Too Much

I see the significance
after all
I finally feel the pain
of it all
as I drive by
and
count
the
marching
headstones
Every
Single
Day
of your
duplicity

Never Forget Benghazi

NEVER FORGET BENGHAZI

Policy makers
objectives verses orders
Field duplicity

A slippery slope
of alleged interventions
RECALL...BENGHAZI!!

Enough lies and vicious duplicity.
Someone please bring back times of decency.
Good ol' fashioned civilized dialogue.

A way of life

In the world of man, men’s duplicity.
In the world of man, men’s complicity.
In the world of man, men’s felicity.
There – the soul of man – is a mystery ?

Kicks and Screams

A sharp, harrowing burden
Fashions mirrors of fear
Virgin pages designed
From white nothingness
Tattooed by black teeth
Eyes everywhere
Bold, brave, and daring
To decode the freakish nature
Ascending from duplicity
Form: Verse

Duplicity

Bound by preconceptions of what is and what cannot be,
we condemn and deny life's inherent duplicity,
that birds sing the songs of God is truly reality
and our thoughts and dreams take flight like leaves from an autumn tree.

Duplicity

He swallowed my heart with a greedy smile
and the world began to bend
Although I sensed an emptiness
He swore he was my friend

So I parted with a sigh
and He smiled to himself
while picturing my timid heart
upon his trophy shelf
Form: Verse

The Warrior

In duplicity of white death
exiled from clay
I was sinking in black words.

Absence of truth was absolute
in plowed and harrowed thoughts
of inner sleep,

building my attachment to fear,
exploring the nothingness
of truth.

Duplicity

The duplicity of solitude,
— thinker and thought

The lies we tell ourselves,
  hoping never to get caught

In darkness, living behind walls
  that conceal

Our thoughts from our feelings,
—masquerading as real

Premium Member Duplicity

This is not as good as it gets;
You needle and it stimulates,
joy your hard nose eliminates;
Screw your limits; Screw your limits;

Don’t ask for attention from me,
I’m something you don’t care to see;
What is the new song gonna be?
       Duplicity, Duplicity.

The Many Lost

Pandering both sides against the middle,
duplicity won the day
To neither stand nor then be chased,
the coward has his way
Stealing the peace, betraying the war,
to live is then to die
The one from the many, the many now lost
—shame the binding tie

From Lenin to Stalin

choke the West off

Now with Vladimir Putin
Russia's back and shootin'
Masters of duplicity
Executions through toxicity

Lies

10/06/2018

Formed from duplicity and hypocrisy;
A falsehood foundation for democracy.

Cognitive dissonance spurred into minds;
Attitudes, beliefs, and behavior blinds.

Exposed conflicting ideas and emotions;
While fabricating illogical devotions.

Psychiatry claim to prevent, but obstruct;
As an inhuman money making construct.

Croak Proof

Webbed lip toadies,
their tongues do do stink of lies
As they leapfrog from excrement places
that do do attract flies

Brown tongue toadies,
their sticky web of dysentery deceit
stinks of foul breath duplicity

For they do do double dip in
toilet ponds of diaphragm dishonesty

Croak manure truth be 100-proof landfill speech

The Cost of Compromise

"On the coasts of compromise, consider the cost." Poet
Squalls were forecast at last evening's meeting; sudden gusts of duplicity directed decisions. My wild frenzy wanes, passes now as I pray. Today, back at work Jesus' spirit within my soul restages me with truth to defeat divisions as I work to lower temperatures. Pardon’s plea

Premium Member Simple As That

There’re merits to simplicity!
It’s void of dark duplicity,
It’s lacking eccentricity
In its mundane basicity.

Complexity, troublesome trait,
Catchy, sophisticated bait,
Morphs into agitated state -
Perplexity where nothing’s straight.

My ex and I were simply screwed
By absence of similitude.
Me being a simplistic dude,
Irreconcilable, I conclude!

EASTER

May that great, Christ spirit within, be risen?
Let it escape the clutches of our heart’s prison.

Let it not come from the hypocrisy of organized religion
but from a pure, innocent, free soul – let it be freely given.

Let it not come from duplicity, but from the uncontaminated heart
where the Christ spirit, the Christ philosophy within, should start.

Paradigm Shift

I’m adjusting fixed positions
On opinions and deductions
From now on breathing other airs
I have a stack of fresh instructions

I let go of once held handle bars
Veering off from straight line steering
Riding curves requiring nerves
Whilst watching stances disappearing

Chancers wait to try it on
Consider risk-maintaining stakes
Ask what can we afford to lose
Whilst still expecting lucky breaks

Premium Member LOST

Lost
In a tangle of thoughts
Briar thick thorny thoughts
Daring me to venture further
A sweet scent of roses
Bidding me rest, relax
Let the thoughts come to you
For they seek
The playground of your mind
Long for the challenge
Of confusion’s conundrum
Sneer at the strict interpretation
Of simplicity’s duplicity
Wait for the flowers of thought
To bloom
Knowing that their beauty
Will soon be
Lost

Premium Member Give Not Your Heart

Give not your heart to hasty pleas
Resist lips of slick, pretty lies
Who weave duplicity and tease
Value yourself; you are the prize
Who is not won by shallow tries
Sugary words are spun of air
The blood of effort is more rare
Take careful measure of what grows
For the soil, thin or rich, will bear
Which is the weed, and which, the rose.

In The Abstract

Some never find wrongdoing in one of their own no matter the proof shown or how many whistles are blown they circle the wagons close ranks deny any and all culpability then compound the issue by defending duplicity with verbal hostility but Detective Inspector Quasimodo could solve a crime before lunch he'd secure the scene collect clues examine the evidence and would bust the culprit just on a hunch
