Nature knows that smell forbids.
Aphids avoid marigolds.
Match for a reflex magnet
in your berry patch.
Black balloon bellies…
Sunken red orbs peering out:
Visions of hunger…
Tables are sagging,
Loaded with spoiled surplus food:
Empty stomachs growl…
Silence silently,
promotes serene smooth duet
with the ever silent peace...
Let us hear the silence
so that we may have heavenly peace...
Who are You that dwells also in this body?
How do I dance with a partner that I cannot see?

as dawn draws nigh~yesterday's residue,
linger on the fingertips
in twilight hour~ one graspes, for something

How did you find me?
Your probing toe seeks its fortune
Tries its luck in my diamond mine
Hi ho, hi ho, lets not go to work
Continue burrowing, my little mole,
My muncher of ****

High strung tight heart strings
A shy chord of melody
Fretfully slowly thrummed
To express the feelings and fears of new young lovers
in the context of musicly blended notes
within the haiku rules of conduct
luna moth-dancing with starlight on the petal of a winter rose
chrysalis cocoon-butterflies with gilded wings-singing songs in spring

Sensual Duet Sung
kisses on her lips
open meadows rise in heat
butterflies set free to sing
tall grass' bristling soft
moon river tearing of joy
song of the wind deafen

Tongues swathed in mint
Trestlework of undulation
Swoosh of utter breezes
The cool tingling sensation

Original Poem: Sensational Lovemaking
Sing your heart a song,
I’ll grab a microphone and sing along,
Together we sing a different tune,
A high note that hits the moon,
A low note that hits the core,
Our passion have taken flight,
Our voices will unite,
Praised by blessing angels,
The message came across tonight.
I thought I saw you
And I’ll never see you here
My soul smiled and
In this lonely desert
My thoughts danced
Isolated from your love
And then my spirit cried
And another little piece of me died.
the nature is a gold mine - positive effect on negative thoughts
breathe in the fresh air - find peace in circle of waves - an open landscape

1st place in the contest
it begins, an untitled song
a song for a winter's day
without lyric or refrain
a catchy little tune
that I hum while
the seasons change
winter to spring, spring to
summer, summer to fall
the tempo growing stronger
till once again, winter returns
lyric forming in thought
the song to be sung
a duet

IN ECHOED MEAN SORROWS TO HER
(A Tanka Duet)
Peace rang the doorbell:
“Sorry, you’re at the wrong door.”
“We only do wars:-”
At the next door, she heard:
“Sorry, we’ve no vacancies.”
Moving on, peace heard,
“Your sorry butt got some nerves!”
“Get the hell away!”
In sorrow, Peace keeps belling;
Hoping one day, its God’s door:-
The butterfly sweetly sings
for flowers pregnant with love.
Petals swirls to the rhythm...
beauty laughs out loud.
The skies are silent tonight;
I hear the echoes of bliss,
and whispers of love-bound lips..
Kisses flow till dawn.
Love banks at the shore of dreams
tastes of feelings yet unborn;
listen to the stars and skies
make sweet melodies.
Duet poetry soup
In gemeen was darem een
Die binne-wens na musiekant
My woorde sal ek jou verleen
Ek ‘n alt, en jy duskant…
Sing saam my die glorie-lied
Wat lof besing aan Hom wat bied
Die wonders van ons voortbestaan
Die pyn het seker al vergaan?
Albums maak ons vol en droom
Nou sal ek hier langs jou staan
Saam te sing soos idioom
Sodat die werklikheid vergaan
Two spiders dance cross ivory keys
The sounds they make reprise songs of trees
Phantom fingers flick like legs from hands
Over blacks and whites on baby grands
Every touch, every note played with care
Silken chords 'n tones flow through the air
This music written by nature's mind
From its tips to human hearts it finds
Flying digits riff rare rhapsodies
Prancing predators play melodies

I filled the night’s chalice with knots of desire,
we dance through the darkness, a duet of fire.
It rains red roses, riots of love ignite,
the midnight stars groove to our souls’ delight.
Let’s share our ardor with the moon’s soft beams,
hands joined, lives twined, eternal as our dreams.
"Good morning my heart
you must be waking
for the Sun shines bright
through my window
and my soul is shaking."
"No mi vida, I still sleep
but I'm sending the Sun
as I dream of you
to assure you of
the warmth of my love...
"And know it shall never shine
as bright as the fires that
blaze within my heart
for you."
Two singers playing a duet
With the moon as witness
Talking about their love
grievances and life.
Music can transmit a lot of feelings.
Love, passion, joy, grief or sorrow.
Leaving a feeling in your soul of
Well being or unhappiness.
A song can cover the
Feelings of the singer
Lyrics flown as a rapid river
Printing a vivid image on the soul.
Uplift to unlimited wellness
Listening with aliveness.

His "mommy" had taken
her grandson bungee jumping,
and left me dog sitting.
Eli, a tiny black "Pom,"
two pounds dog, five pounds hair,
stared at me. His sad eyes
begged, "My mommy's gone,
what're you gonna do about it?"
In spite of mediocre ability
–What do dogs know?–
I began to sing,
"You Are My Sunshine."
Eli pointed his nose heavenward,
pursed his mouth,
and sang with me, his tongue
curled into a rose-tinted
petal of love.
