Others cut a jagged path
Snagging on innocent brain cells

Serious damage can be done
Obviously invisibly
Shouting for help pointless

Sentience comes with downsides
Overthinking and ruminating
Soothing from another not always an option

So, time heals
Only if the damage stops though

Sometimes the things that happen to us are God-sent.
We often go into change kicking and shrieking
Unable to see any benefits, focusing on possible downsides.
I have had these experiences not a few times, but many.
Forced to change directions, without my consent.
It’s difficult toward impossible, but it usually ends up being the best.
Have I finally learned the lesson that God knows better than I do?
