On the Importance of the Dorsal Fin
Lacking a dorsal fin, the human being
is ill-suited to his very constitution,
relying rather on ambition and threads of fantasy to
carry him to places a fish cares not to see...

Shark
Slow sways, it meanders ~
Sandy spotted mammoth
Sieving the shallow sea…
Still that dorsal fin fear!
Some jaws don’t bite or bark
Such is deep’s largest fish…
Sized gape, my whale shark awe ~

Objetivo Dia Novo
Objetivo dia Novo

Você já sabe mas não custa lembrar: Sempre,
na vida e nos negócios
a objetivo de um dia novo
é criar uma  nova alma e um novo nariz;
pés novos,
uma nova espinha dorsal,
novos ouvidos e novos olhos.

Quer queiramos ou não,
o dia novo trará novos desafios;
quer os apreendamos ou não,
o novo ano trará novas oportunidades....

Premium Member Decay
^Truth is the smallest of all cays.
Surrounded by blood waters of the past...
the dorsal fins of doubt and deception.
Only the brave dare takes the chance.
To swim out to it and fend off the thrash.

Most would rather stay where they're at.
With the plush comforts of the arrogant mainland.
Suckling poison fruits of ego and half-truths...
then sashay upon the decay of the damned^...

Fatigue
Dragging my dorsal as I glide
sends my energy on a slide
beyond the scope of synergy
until there's not much left in me.

Yawns putter from my monster gape
when I'm smothered flat like a grape
stalled until my vintage accrues,
choking summons such vibrant hues.

The moon above demands my trust
before my flesh breaks down to dust
blowing into the atmosphere
to merge these auras without fear....

Premium Member Balloon and Anchor
life-the anchor
filled with fruitless war
sticky harlot loneliness
dirt hugging orphans
tied to the umbilical cord
then the big toe at the undertaker's Inn...
alpha to omega

life the balloon
tethered to soul at conception
sprinkled with stardust
the breath of the universe
lifting basket hearts above
dorsal fin breakers
the false prophets-
the fiery fakers

life the balloon
life the anchor...

Premium Member Accolades To the Moon
Since risen dawn, clouds have been drifting in,
shifting their shapes, swimming above the sea.
There seems to be a whale waving her dorsal fin
My accolades to the moon's power sung in apogee

There are tiny rivulets where starfish cannot hide
Sea worms wiggling, trying to inch their way home
Nothing escapes the hastened withdrawal of low tide
leaving treasures to discover on this morning as I roam...

Babe Ruth the Swimmer
I dreamt of Babe Ruth
in Howard Johnsons'
lighted pool doing

the backstroke so brilliantly.
No bats lying around
anywhere. warm water

reflected dorsal pecs,
beautiful biceps, round
spiral muscles fanning

along so softly.
Finally finding the nerve
to say: Babe! your a

ballplayer; Sultan of swat.
Smiling at me timidly:
I'm a ballplayer and a

a swimmer. He replied
calmly gliding away.
A swan in the moonlight....

Premium Member In the Wee Hours
in the wee hours
of the morning
i love to watch the sun
stretch its arms lazily
as it thinks about
rising ever so slowly
and the october leaves
so sparse are fluttering
in breathless anticipation
for a few warm rays
to caress their dorsal fins
and underbelly

Premium Member Opaqueness of Faith
They've been talking about the end times
since the beginning of our time.
The will of fear is to keep us in line
Will I be cherry picked for heaven
or tossed to the pigsty.

I have an opaque flavor of faith
never fully believing in things
that I've never really felt or seen.
So, I'll probably be going down fast
when all the carnage and chaos hit the fan.
but for now, I'm riding dorsal fin waves
lighting the fuse and consuming the blast....

Hector Dolphins
Hectors Dolphins are listed as, endangered
and a sub-species, Maui’s Dolphin are critically endangered
with only about 55 left, in New Zealand’s shallow waters
in the North Island eastern shores, is their home with borders

Hector Dolphins dorsal fin, looks like Mickey Mouse’s ear
and they are the smallest and rarest, of all marine dolphins
Their biggest threat, is being caught up in human fishing gear
and humans polluting, boat striking, developing and seabed mining...
