Dietary Shortcomings

An aardvark went looking for bugs,
but he found, to consume, only slugs:
he pondered his luck,
and soliloquised, “Yuck!
No wonder that people do drugs!”

I'M a Teenager

I’ll break it all,
The rules the law,
I cut my wrists,
I’ll have them slit,
I’ll kill you all,
Destroy them all,
I’ll feel love,
And then watch it fall,
I’ll do drugs,
I’ll smoke and sniff it all,
I’ll die myself,
I’ll die alone,
I’m a teenager,
And I’ve seen it all.

Snoop Dog

He said, do you wanna smoke some marijuana?
But I just don't wanna
If you smoke the green
Your gonna eat some beans
I say is it legal?
He says only partly
I only love my weed and my green, I’m sorry
I say, snoop, where you at, dog?
Then I smell the pot and say, ah, there you are
Don’t do drugs, kids

Premium Member I Will Put a Spell On You and You'Ll Know It When I Do

I'll put a spell on you
And you'll know it when I do
You'll see my face wherever you go
I'll always be in the know
If you do drugs
You can forget hugs
When you're tempted to steal
You won't get a meal
And if you get drunk
I'll turn you into a skunk
And if you can turn yourself back
I'll give you my hand to smack!

The Blues

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem:The Blues
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: July/1990

Man.....
we
got the blues,
and
it ain't cool -

We
skip school
we
break rules

We
talk bad
we
drank booze

We
do drugs
and
It ain't cool -

We
lie straight
We
stay out late

we be fools
We die soon

Man....
we
got the blues
and
It ain't cool -

Influence By Christian Cepeda 7th Grade

Intoxication.....good or bad?
Not good if you're intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol. My
Future is important to me. Young ones,
Little ones, old ones. The
United States should be drug and alcohol free,
Even if it takes a lifetime.
No one should ever do drugs or become intoxicated.
Change can happen but it starts with you!
Everyone can make a difference.

We do drugs
We be fools

My Kitties

My kitties are so white
You can see them at night
They run and play
When I want them to stay

I have trouble sleeping
When they do their creeping
I will put in ear plugs
As I don’t like to do drugs

If they weren’t so much fun
I’d say they were done
And if I gave them away
With who would I play

White are my kitties
They are itty bitties
They come to my call
Even since they were small

Heartbroke Daughter

father dear , you lied and betrayed.
i cant believe you.
words are all talk.
thats what you are, all talk and no actions.
you do drugs to hide from your kids.
so they wont see how much of a low life you are.
father dear, change your life or i wont be apart of it.
father dear, i am beautiful in my own way.
father dear, i am smart.
im tierd of being broken, its my turn to be whole.
father dear, your a fool.

Jesus Came To Live Among Us

Jesus left Heaven to be one of us and God allowed his only son to go.
Jesus died so that people will not be sent to the Lake of Fire below.
Jesus performed miracles.
He was truly remarkable.
When Jesus was on Earth, I know that God missed him.
Jesus was tempted by Satan but he was able to resist him.
When people steal, kill, do drugs and other bad things, they will pay.
They will try but fail to hide on Judgement Day.

Please Don'T

Even drugs make me happy.
Dont do them though if you do i will be sappy.
Great things await you as long as you dont do drugs.
You not doing them well make me give you hugs.

My brother did lots of them, he said they're bad.
Even i tried some, and i agree they are bad.
My mother did much more than me and my brother she regrets it
Every drug is bad and if i find out you tried them i'll through a fit
So please dont do drugs.

Burning Man Jerk

Some jerk heading to Burning Man
Just hit my truck
In a very lady like tone
I hollered,"What the F--k!"

He offered some lame
Excuse for his lack of skill
I told him to wait until he was out there
To do drugs and pop his pills

Swapped info
California is where he resides
Should have taken all his water
Dehydration, too, can come in tides

I know all the officers
From Pyramid Lake
They let me handle it
Sh-t I don't take

Be Drug Free

Drugs are bad
They can kill you
Destroy your future
And let police arrest you

Don’t do drugs
They are terrible
They’ll control you
Drugs are bad

You give them your freedom
They’ll take it for granted
It shouldn’t be in your mind
That’s bad if it is

They take advantage of you
kill you
Destroy you
So don’t do drugs

Get them out of your sight
Destroy them
Before they destroy you
Stay away from drugs and you’ll be okay

78 Months

He was my cousin and friend and his death was a damn shame.
But he decided to do drugs and he only had himself to blame.
78 months ago today, he drew his final breath.
He loved to party and he died because of Meth.
People tried to convince him to stop doing drugs but we were bound to fail.
He died six and a half years ago today and if you do Meth, you'll die as well.

Rising From Demerits

When he put down the bottle!
When she threw the pills down the drain!
When they quit burning their lungs with nicotine tears from the codeine needed a trick from Houdene !
The moment time froze.

Wait ..... pause.....breath in..... out look up ! The sun is beautiful , the clowds love us... You don't need holy water to be blessed, you don't need a drag to feel alive you need light ,you seek God.

I don't drink !
I don't smoke!
I don't do drugs!
Straight like that, get high on life

I tell you
it is rough being the poet
of petty bourgeois
middle class complaint.
Sensibilities based in
the ordinary.
Fetishes and obsessions
clinging to the prosaic
with no great success nor
abject failure.
Some practical good sense
always seemed to save me
and render life and poetry
to a solid B grade.

I need to drink and carouse,
do drugs and gamble my last dime,
and hang out meantime with the
wildest of wild women, but
I can't, so
I sit here waiting for
