Drink in life from a sippy cup,
take it all in but stop at enough.

Cyber Speak

Can you hear the tone of my voice?
Do my flat written words animate on your screen?
Can you discern my mood,
distinguish between raw truth
and sarcasm?

I am but a silent envelope on your toolbar.

Extinguish;
Distinguish.

The blind man may not be able to distinguish day from night,

But, he can distinguish wrong from right!

The kind man may not be able to distinguish wrong from right,

Premium Member Opinion

Isn't really as hard to distinguish from fact
as news shows would have one believe.

Nor is blithering idiocy from
that which is easily verifiable..

if one doesn't mind getting up off one's ass
every once in a while.

Body Soap

Body Soap

I’m training the liquid body soap I use to
make the least effort keeping me
clean to
distinguish who
isn’t and who is
clingy,
in manner a

a doily should be worn on
the head when outdoors.

Premium Member Two Sides to Every Story

There are two sides to every story,
But we should also remember
That, in many cases,
One side is right, and the other wrong.
And we will be far wiser if,
Beyond recognizing the two sides,
We can distinguish one from the other.

The Night Is Fingers of the Moon

The night is fingers of the Moon,
when it halves your
daily eyelid
for the dream
( the Death has other name).
But behind the canopy of leaves
of the light tree
it's impossible to distinguish it.

And you smile somehow
like a child.

Premium Member Tale of the Gallaghers

Right and Wrong

RIGHT AND WRONG
Sometimes we can't distinguish the weakness and strength
The thin line between right and wrong
The peak and the abyss are at its own length
Why can't you sing your own written song

Scream

i dont believe you
when you're happy.
when you're nice i
suspect evil
plotting desires
of ambush;
havoc; destruction.
i am untouchable
camouflaged against
the night. it's hard
to distinguish my
fright from my pleasure,
i scream for both.

Creeping

I can't see your face
as it must be
or even guess
the tone of your voice
or distinguish your perfume in the crowd.
The memory of you
has become a faded black and white
with no scent or sound.
From us
none of the five senses has survived.

With Your Beauty

Before,
I was a greedy man

You gave me a gift
to distinguish the difference
between the beauty of sexual desire and
the power of love

Now,
I can walk down
the streets of Manhattan
not being bothered

I saw the most beautiful dandelion the day.
