Rolling Storms
Resounding thunder,
Brilliant energy flashing,
Static discharging.

Warm Salty Blood
room full of ashes
remnants of
poems
nauseous odour of
the drunken
night
warm salty blood
discharging on
your open
mouth
faceless orbiting
moons...

each spoke of the wheel
fulfils it’s intended purpose
discharging it’s role in silence
without any vanity or pride

recognising it’s a part of the whole

Premium Member The Family Reading Room
The reading skill of many men
it’s said, would improve significantly
in the “family reading room” when
seated with the printed page. Daily
discharging may improve regularity
but only reading improves one’s vocabulary....

The Chill
The wind was such
that wisps of hair
whipped the face
Into
Apple red blushes

While the cold caught
the breath
in cotton clouds
discharging
to the air

And the misty drizzle
dampened the spirit.
Limp and lifeless,
it matched her eyes....

Conscience
C atastrophic, disastrous, in which
O ne is impelled blind,
N othing can define wrong from right,
S ickening, discharging insanity,
C onstructing the destruction of mind,
I mprisoned reality, in which words are destined to lie,
E luding the truth, for humanity lives to deny,
N o empathy, for no honesty lives to sympathize…

Your Waking Head
Your impressionist,
rift, comes through
uncontrolled hands of fear. The snake

was shedding the skin.
Not walking,
flying like a rage
discharging the burns
in the river of blood.

I shudder,
in the cleft of a grain.
Hymns were howering over the book.

One by one
the leaves fall, to unravel the secrets of
unvoiced grief of earth.
A thin faith crumbles
unfinding the lost shroud
of a messiah.

In a Dream Like State
Subconscious held vistas jolts me awake

In partial remembering I reluctantly forsake

Emotions are stirring, adrenalin on high

As recalled images flash on by

Innermost urgings, long forgotten times

Hearts reconnecting to a love that binds

Nightly slumbers in a faraway realm

Recharged, reconnected our soul's at the helm

Finally discharging duties here on earth

To return enlightened to the land before birth....

Premium Member October
October is a tragedy
Written by the ghosts of summertime,
Discharging promises and platitudes
Like an old man seated on a rocking chair;
Reciting them time and again,
Building false hope
Like a child
Building a house with playing cards.
Ferocious wind, a gentle thump,
They crumble;
Returning to a predetermined purpose,
Bound by a preexisting oath.
