Beast of a beauty
Raw power with soft edges
Couldn't ask for more,
I'm trembling in disbelief
My mind screaming for relief
Suspended disbelief around her
She is empty of passionate-kisses
Yet her eyes found embodiment
Anarchy finds energy in her sphere
It shook the world with chilling grief
Crying shame and disbelief
Crushing every sense of pride
How can I live, where can I hide
35
Cryptic
Words like
A demon
Filling my
Head with
Doubt disbelief
Disturbing
Me fully
Do dear pen
Don’t make
Me cry
Again
Still reeling from the blow
His alchemy charge opened a sudden hole
In left in utter disbelief
How words could be so vicious and cleave
The festivities
The nauseous time of year
When booze is handy
Sentimentality
Silly hats doesn`t touch me
Safe inside a fog of disbelief
Form:
safe in the cocoon
of sweet shock and disbelief
cocoons become tombs
moths suffocate and wither
rather than fly to the flame
in awe
shaken
in total disbelief
i’m left
questioning myself
can i ever know
what’s inside
a person’s
head or heart

Dandelions are mowed down by the millions
We watch helpless in disbelief

when all is settled
and all is done
we sigh in disbelief
of that beautiful moment in life
grasped in our hands
for a brief second

Perfect.
In A Second, it could start.
The moment lightening shocks your heart.
It leaves you in disbelief.
Leaves you burned with love, a smile that lasts a week.

Are stories with
Responses of
Disbelief..or a

And quiet resonance
Which cannot be
Explained..
Nevertheless...
I collided with a door that should not be,
My disbelief in the door did not cease its existence,
Reality augments and causes pain in my face,
And the door remains locked.

When in disbelief,
I sense the presence I cannot speak,
come again to my emptiness
as if by another's grace . . .
may I give something back
beyond the silence --
voice, place.
I awoke, and once again
Came the disbelief and pain.
Sat there on my bed I wept,
The agony hidden as I slept.
From my breast my heart was torn,
As long as I draw breath, I'll mourn.
Date Nuts
My first date turned out to be a fig
her hands, though soft, were rather big
to my relief
and disbelief
t’was an older guy wearing – a wig

I shake my head in disbelief
and learn the details of a crime:
the relatives are full of grief,
the killer's angry, 'doing time',
the victims' bodies in quicklime...

An atheistic 'Chief Chaplain' at Harvard
The university's raison d'etre bartered
A divinity school, founded to spread God's word
The goal now, 'equitable neighborhoods'
was running by
got distracted
stopped dead
took double take
started to walk
away then decided
to turn around
walked up
got shot down
sat down in
despair staring
in disbelief
Retro
Last fall I took time watching a falling leaf,
Underneath it was something like my name
When I could clearly see,it became another name
I took the leaf and head back home in disbelief
No one knows your pain
the emptiness of your heart
the disbelief of losing a loved one
and never saying
I love you again in person
never hugging them
and holding them close
we are just lost
On those days my inner fire is being doused by apprehension,
disbelief
and doubt…
I am grateful
for the love of those who are there to help relight my flame
when my candle has burned out.
Scanning the sky, searching for intelligent life
seeking creatures who wish to live, not die
Finding earth, advanced civilizations gape in disbelief
~ avert their eyes, stricken with grief
It is winter.
Ta da ta da ta dah
It is snowing.

There were one hundred and seventy car wrecks
in Kansas City yesterday.
I stare at the screen in disbelief
not knowing what to say.
