Roadmap

Flora and fauna hides the maze,
In the concrete jungle of corporate race.
Disarrayed and frazzled thou shall not,
For thou shall seek a roadmap of top notch.

Polar Winds

Pushing hard
against the words
the order
disarrayed
The ultimate guest
the consummate stranger
so close
— so far away

New Freedom

Much I tried to bare the bines,
As straight as I could be,
Caught laced, always, in those tangled vines.
Until – disarrayed – I broke, and heard the chimes.

Kitchen Table Monologue 14

kitchen table monologues 14

we prayed hard once
to some obscure
dime store rag deity
the decrees
the pleas
went unheeded
and we humbly
rose in accord
in disarrayed discord
more was needed
than this
may as well piss
into a warm southernly breeze
and save the skin
on our knees

Clara Venus

I've BEEN invited alone

into a carefully distinct sex

whose sharp fangs comb

  my thoughts so ghost

Within these disarrayed eyes

from ground into green

zinc coffin with mask

i found this memory appears

a slab as spine in bits of

red and CLARA VENUS scent.

Premium Member Your Father's Arms

O child, not meant to end this way, Thy perfect limbs, so disarrayed; So fearful, wondrous made you are, Then swept away, but not the scar. My heart does break, my spirit weeps, A mother's bond should be for keeps. No longer can the world bring harm, Rush swiftly to your Father's arms.

I Understand

I traced along the battered spine,
But it was not in me
To brace along those tattered lines.

Much I tried to bare the bines,
As straight as I could be,
Caught laced, always, in those tangled vines.

Until – disarrayed – I broke, and heard the chimes.
I have learned to mend,
With every step along this battered bend.

Shadows of Time-Jq

In lengthened shadows of time
Echoes sound of lost words chime
      Waves of forgotten sunrays
         Poured on my disarrayed days

Time that had taste of old name
      Chime gliding through inert game
        Sunrays seived unfolded thoughts
Days of yore dance in blue dots

Chaos

while the silent moon is above the horizon,
the teeth grind to block the ears to
allegoric noises in the head
of crumbling paper in the hands,
screeching fingernails on a metal piece,
squealing chalk on the board.
the disarrayed thoughts
like untidy paperwork,
An emotional chaos is creating void in the chest
and the unrest mind disobeys to sleep.

Running Feet

I see running feet
Disarrayed like troubled ants
Running violently in indefinite path

I see hunters
Pursuing preys dodging at gunshots
Continuously in all directions

Justification: Our cattle are hungry!

I see blood of the running feet
Splatter, splashing, in churches and mosques
In bed rooms and streets
On grasses, rocks, books, everywhere

A troop of insurgents
Has invaded our land.

Angry acts begin.
Harmful words would never flare,
Count to ten then once again.

Wildfire spreading fast,
With mistaken, muddled acts.
Smokey aftertaste will last.

Then finessed assaults,
Vainly exit, pride intact,
Casting blame, the other's fault.

Friendships fall head-long,
Disarrayed in stumbled steps.
Puzzled reasons blurred then gone.

Premium Member Your Face

I see your face; the face of many long gone.
I see your face; the face of past troubles.
I see you face, the face of weary, pain and sorrow.
I see your face disarrayed, lost.
I see your face, humble, meek, strength.
I see your face, not different from mine, yet years apart.
I see your face in this new day;
unassuming, yet powerful, mighty, GOD fearing.
Knowing, I am your face, the face of your past, dreams and hopes.

Emerald leaves of summer quickly disappear
Autumn arrives as days draw short
Leaves dance in the soft blowing breeze
As multi colored visions now appear

          ()~() ()~()
They cascade to the ground
Twirling into disarrayed heaping mounds
Signalling the closure to the seasons warmth
Autumn becomes laden with frosty mornings
Forewarning of the up coming winter ***snow***.

Spring night -- an odd attraction to this alley. Dark shadows -- something lurking in that corner. Soft breeze -- a weird paralysis in my legs.

softly breezes blow:
hair fluttering fled, disarrayed
what: distraction

eyes blinking wildly --
stiff deadened toes shivered
body slow --- stiffened

Nothing heard --
within non-sounds: darkness rose
eventide swoons

spring night
moonbeam bright
bumping jumping slithering crawling
