Premiere Contest WinnerNew Freedom

Much I tried to bare the bines,
As straight as I could be,
Caught laced, always, in those tangled vines.
Until – disarrayed – I broke, and heard the chimes.

Ahmad, I like your metaphors of bines, vines, and laces as binding forces that hold us down, and the chimes as a symbol of eventual freedom. Nicely done, congrats on your 1st place win in Greg's contest ~ John
