Monster Scare

Frank N. Stein began to whine,
He has been accused of awful crime,
Scaring little kids in their bed,
Setting off metal detectors with his head,
He just might need a redesign.

Frank N Stein

Frank N. Stein began to whine,
He'd been accused of awful crime,
Scaring little kids in their bed,
Setting off metal detectors with his head,
He just may need a re-design.

The Flammable House

We built a flammable house.
Put smoke detectors in.
Then called the fire department
to save what we had in.

Then cashed in our insurance
to buy another house.
And filled it up again
with things we'll have to dowse.

Emotional Traffic Jams- -

Voice off the grid
Stuffy nose sore throat voice not submissive
motion detectors going off
 submissive traffic jams
 no one's listening
 collusion so much
 confusion
 non bias
everyone's in the riot
 no understanding
 beautiful set of five
 silicified
 bonafide
no one else here to ride
I am caught in an emotional traffic jam

Missing You

Late night phone calls
Red-eye plane flights.
Bag searches
Metal detectors.
As time rolls on...
The distance stays the same...
Insurmountable.
Lonely in my bed,
I toss.
Lonely in my mind,
I wish.
Though we cannot touch,
I see you in my thoughts.
Though we cannot kiss,
I hold you in my dreams.
Together or apart...
Our hearts beat as one.
Here now and forever,
I shall miss you and love...
You.

How Hot Were We

How hot were we

As icy night
was turning frigid,
The howling sounds
made me rigid,
Chilled the wine
and lit candles,
Passion in eyes
he held me tight.....
Palpitations,
the breaths burnt.....
Thumping hearts
spurred the fumes...
Ah the smoke detectors
activated,
Splashes of rain,
To check......
how hot we had been !

The Letter

Walking barefoot on the noon shore
Oblivious of the combers
With their new metal detectors
Her head bowed low as if in prayer;
But at a closer look we see
That she is holding a letter.
Her grimaced face stared long at it;
Then dropped it on the glistening
Wet sand and stood there a moment
As the returning salty wave
Washed over its ink scripted words-
Words now lost forever in time.
Its message known only to her
And the blue eternalness sea.

Broken Promises

Your promises fall to the ground like autumn leaves.
They are like the drops in an ocean, Or the stars in the sky.
The crust on a pie so easily broken.
Your lips may move but the truth stays hidden away.
I dont need lie detectors, Just my ears.
No torture chambers or dossier of lies
No more sons need to die
Always remember a politians promises, Are like snow flakes they will melt away
Until the next illegal war comes to take your young soldiers away

Path To Achievement

None will eagerly snatch you if you properly grasp detectors evading. You can't gather unless you utterly master discarding. You won't succeed until you scarcely learn the shunning. If, on either hand, you merely find every shrill outcry irritating. If you naturally shrink every sore spot, you will reluctantly yield everything. You were obliterated through fierce winds shivering. When will you leave, my chosen mate? Properly honoring.

Your Fancy

Your fancy Come visit me and I’ll tickle your fancy, Let me mess up your intellect, When I’m riding like ol Mick Dancey, Come morning, do I have your respect? When cornball is up to ya eyebrows, Morality slip-sliding in sweet decline, Lie detectors, for all polititians words, though, Will they be truthful, the gutter slime? The rich manlipulate the masses, Brainwash the gullible poor, Who do you think own the media, Till you think this way nothing more? Don Johnson
